Many of you will recall our article last weekend when we revealed that over 700 saver redemptions in Singapore Airlines Suites class were available between Singapore and Osaka this winter during an extended period of daily A380 operation on the SQ618/619 flights.
Originally SIA programmed the A380 flights from 28th October 2018 to 31st January 2019 however in the latest schedule update operation has been extended by a further two months to the end of the northern winter timetable on 30th March 2019.

Award Availability
The same story here as we found for the first three months of A380 flights on this route – at least 4 saver Suites redemptions are available almost every day in each direction.
The same availability is loaded for the southbound sector.
As you can see above it’s 65,000 miles for a one-way saver award flight in Suites on this route and as we recommended in our article last week you should consider taking that class of travel on the daytime southbound flight from Osaka to Singapore to make the most of the Suites service on a 7 hour flight.
The Singapore to Osaka flight is shorter and you’ll likely sleep for most of it due to the overnight timing.
2006 Suites
Remember it’s the older 2006 Suites installed on these A380s not the latest ones launched last year. Still if you haven’t tried Singapore Airlines in Suites this remains a fantastic product, refreshed with new seat covers and other fittings only a few years ago.
Summary
This schedule change means hundreds more Suites saver redemptions on the Osaka route this winter, cementing this as the most wide-open city pair on the SIA network for Suites saver availability.

Hi Andrew! I’m new to your site and was real excited about the above news. However, when I checked on KF site for various dates in different months during the period stated (tried Oct dates, Dec and Feb), but all saver seats for Suites were at least 130,000/way. Could it be possible that they’ve updated the points required or am I late to the game? Newbie here…apologies if my questions seem silly!

130,000 miles would be for a round-trip redemption on this route. 65,000 miles is the one-way saver Suites award cost.
