Kris+ is offering a new boosted miles earning rate of 10 mpd at over 40 of its merchants during the whole month of October 2024, which of course means a total accrual of up to 14 mpd when you spend with a 4 mpd credit card at these partners, often stackable with other benefits like discounts and advance voucher purchases in some cases.
Here’s how the deal works, and which of the programme’s dining and retail merchants are participating.
Kris+ Birthday Bash
To celebrate the 4th birthday of Kris+ this month, earn transactions made at over 40 merchants across Singapore between 10am SGT on 1st October 2024 and 11.59pm SGT on 31st October 2024 will accrue an upsized rate of 10 mpd in total, instantly awarded instead of the usual accrual rates when you make a purchase using the app.

Here’s the full list of 48 participating partners for the month.

The merchants with the lowest year-round earn rates of 2 mpd are having their accrual hiked by a total of 8 mpd to the 10 mpd level during this promotion, while those usually earning 9 mpd are hiked by just 1 mpd – still better than nothing.
The bonus earn rate already reflects in the Kris+ app for these merchants when you make your purchase.
Stack with other promotions
You can also stack this enhanced miles earning with discounts, promotions and advance voucher purchases at some of these merchants, some of which are being enhanced as part of this Birthday Bash promotion.

For example, at Adidas, you can take advantage of this current 10 mpd earn rate (3 mpd regular + 7 mpd promo) to buy a S$100 cash voucher for a discounted cost of S$85, which you can then redeem over the next three months.
Which card to use for Kris+ purchases
Many bonus credit cards in Singapore earn at their top rate for Kris+ transactions, either for all spend or for purchases in selected Merchant Category Codes (MCCs).
For some cards it’s a little complicated, because the payment you make in-app will tag under the merchant’s MCC, so you’ll need to be confident it qualifies prior to your purchase, but there are some cards that earn at their top rate for all Kris+ spend too.
Here’s how some of these cards earn for Kris+ payments, within their monthly spend caps. You can check the MCC with the merchant in advance of your payment if necessary, though some are obvious (like restaurants – 5812).

Over 400 year-round Kris+ earning options
If you’re not using Kris+ to earn additional miles for dining, retail, wellness or other goods and services in Singapore, then you’re potentially missing out on thousands of additional KrisFlyer miles each year.
The “lifestyle app” has progressively extended its reach across many popular (and admittedly some less well-known) outlets right across the country over the last few years.
Here’s our latest list of all Kris+ merchants and their respective regular earn rates, before credit card points and miles are accounted for.
Summary
Kris+ is offering a bonus 10 mpd earn rate, fully transferable to KrisFlyer miles, when you make purchases at over 40 merchants across Singapore during October 2024.
This boosts regular earn rates from as little as 2 mpd up to 10 mpd, which then stacks with credit card points of up to 4 mpd on top of that, depending on which card you use.
It’s a great deal to take advantage of if any of these merchants are places where you make regular spend, or could be of interest to you, and even stacks with voucher discounts in some cases.

Nice list, but I wish that it could be sorted by the type of merchant, and that you’d account for the Citi Rewards’ ability to pair with Amaze and remove the in-app wallet restriction on 4 mpd!
Error in article :
Effective 15 July 2024, HSBC Revolution payments via mobile wallet will no longer earn 4mpd.
HSBC Revolution has become an white list online payment card to earn 4mpd or it has to be used with Fave Pay or Shopback in stores.
No, the HSBC Revolution still awards 4 mpd (provided the MCC qualifies) on mobile wallets like Apple/Google Pay, which are required for Kris+. It is contactless payments that were nerfed on 15 July, not mobile wallets. It’s the Citi Rewards that excludes mobile wallets from 4 mpd, not the Revolution, though pairing the CRMC with Amaze solves that problem.
Right! Thanks for the clarification. I stand corrected.
