The Seat
The Singapore Airlines Business Class ‘2013 J’ seats are fitted on all A350 Long Haul, A350 ULR and all 777-300ER aircraft.
Compared with the older 2006 J seats, these newer 2013 J examples feature additional privacy and enhanced storage. The finish of the seats and controls is newer and more polished, and the colour tones are more luxurious than the previous generation seats.
IFE has also been upgraded with a larger HD screen and Wi-Fi is available on all aircraft fitted with this seat, though it varies between time-based and volume-based packages depending which aircraft you’re on.
Two of the seats are located individually by the window at the A and K positions, while the middle pair at D and F is more suited to couples, though a large privacy divider is installed in case you’re seated in one of these seats while travelling solo.
How to know if your flight has 2013 J
You’ll have to be travelling on a Singapore Airlines A350 Long Haul or A350 ULR in Business Class, or on any 777-300ER.
