Singapore Airlines has launched its monthly Spontaneous Escapes promotion for February 2026, offering discounts of 30% on Economy, Premium Economy, and Business Class award bookings to and from a selection of destinations across its network.
As usual, to take advantage of the 30% savings you’ll need to secure your tickets within the next two weeks, though the sooner the better is a good plan, since award seats at these discounted rates are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
If any of the destinations on this month’s list catch your eye and you’re able to make firm travel plans for next month, it’s definitely worth seizing the opportunity to book one of these seats at the discounted rate.

Awards start at 5,600 miles, for one-way Economy Class redemptions between the likes of Singapore and Kuala Lumpur or Bali.
Some of the deals worth considering this month to or from Singapore include:
- Brisbane or Cairns for 50,400 miles in Business or 20,300 miles in Economy
- Dubai or Johannesburg for 36,050 miles in Premium Economy
- Los Angeles, San Francisco or Seattle for 30,800 miles in Economy
- Brussels, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, Milan or Rome for 30,800 miles in Economy
- Darwin for 29,750 miles in Business or 14,350 miles in Economy
- Johannesburg for 22,400 miles in Economy
- Sydney for 20,300 miles in Economy
- Perth for 14,350 miles in Economy
- Bangkok or Phuket for 17,500 miles in Business or 9,100 miles in Economy
- Bali for 15,400 miles in Business or 5,600 miles in Economy
Some routes are affected by a range of blackout dates, or are only available in one direction at the discounted rate, which we clearly show in our detailed tables below.
If you do find a route of interest, you’ll need to book these ‘Promo’ awards over the next two weeks – between 15th January 2026 and 31st January 2026 – for travel in February 2026, but remember there’s no flexibility and in most cases no refunds are allowed.
Terms and conditions
Here are the terms and conditions for the Spontaneous Escapes promotion.

February 2026 offer

Book the ‘Promo’ award category
Singapore Airlines offers the Spontaneous Escapes deals under its “Promo” award category, which you’ll see alongside the usual Saver, Advantage and Access award rates on applicable flights.

If the Promo award rate is not shown for your preferred flight, even though it is listed as part of the offer, that unfortunately means there is no availability remaining at the Spontaneous Escapes rate (but do check back later, like Saver and Advantage award space – it can come and go).
The “Promo” award category also means Spontaneous Escapes award capacity can be loaded as a subset of the Saver award space. This allows you to continue to book at Saver rates (if you prefer the flexibility, for example), or allows the airline to stop offering Spontaneous Escapes rates on a particular flight, while not necessarily having to remove the Saver rate at the same time, like they did under the previous system.
This also opens up the possibility of securing discounted bookings for larger groups.
For example, if three of you are traveling but only two Promo (Spontaneous Escapes) award seats are available for your desired flight, you can potentially redeem the two available Promo seats and then one Saver seat on a separate booking.
This way, you can still effectively enjoy a 20% overall mileage discount across your group, compared to booking three regular-rate Saver awards.
What if you already booked?
If you have already redeemed your miles on a flight that has now become eligible for the Spontaneous Escapes offer, unfortunately there’s no simple way to change it and pay the reduced miles rate.
You will have to book again at the Spontaneous Escapes rate, then cancel the existing booking and pay the miles redeposit fee (don’t do it the other way round, in case the Spontaneous Escapes Promo space disappears in the meantime!).
This will require you to have sufficient miles in your account to immediately lock in the Spontaneous Escapes rate.
If you need the miles from the original booking in order to make the Spontaneous Escapes one due to an insufficient balance, be very careful!
Since you will first have to cancel the original booking, you are now at the mercy of the Spontaneous Escapes space remaining available on the flight, and it can sometimes take a few days for the miles from your original cancelled booking to be re-credited to your account.
Full details
For full details of this month’s Spontaneous Escapes offer, including terms and conditions (but sadly not including the aircraft type and seat type details we have provided above!), head over to the KrisFlyer Spontaneous Escapes promo page.
Summary
KrisFlyer’s regular monthly Spontaneous Escapes deal is back for travel in February 2026, for those who can make short-term travel plans.
Good offers include Cairns in Business Class for 50,400 miles, Bangkok in Business Class for 17,500 miles and Bali in Business Class for 15,400 miles.
There are even some good deals in Economy, like San Francisco, Seattle or Los Angeles for 30,800 miles, Sydney for 20,300 miles, Bali for 5,950 miles and Frankfurt for 30,800 miles.
Check out the full deal here, and do refer to our seat types summary for Business Class in the tables above to pick the aircraft with the best cabin product for your routing.
Remember if you’re unable to secure a return flight at the discounted rates, book two one-way tickets instead. You’ll pay the ‘Promo’ rate one-way and the usual ‘Saver’ rate for the non-discounted sector, but at least the whole itinerary will not be at the usual rate (and a 15% saving is still welcome).
