KrisShop offering 15% miles back on site-wide KrisFlyer redemptions

KrisFlyer miles expiring? Cash them out flexibly in whole or part at 1.18 cents each when you buy any item at the KrisShop between now and 28th February - no brand exclusions, no minimum spend.

KrisShop can be a good way to earn additional miles throughout the year when you can secure products that are competitively priced, with between 1.5 mpd and 4 mpd KrisFlyer miles accrual on top of your credit card points.

However, the site is rarely a good way to redeem, with a year-round flat rate of 1 cent per mile against purchases – only worth considering if your miles are expiring (and even then, there may be better options!).

While KrisShop has occasionally launched offers with an improved value per mile, for example when you redeem in full for Apple products and selected electrical goods, a new offer this month works out as quite a compelling deal, especially if you have a miles expiry issue looming on your account.

Between 20th February 2026 and 28th February 2026, KrisShop is offering 15% miles back when you redeem any item site-wide at KrisShop.com or via the KrisShop on Kris+ app, with no minimum spend and no brand exclusions.

You can use as little as 1,000 miles or redeem the entire cost of your item, or somewhere in between via a sliding scale, and still benefit from 15% miles back under this offer, including for discounted items.

This lifts the miles redemption value for a wide range of products from 1 cent to 1.18 cents, an 18% hike, and it’s flexible enough to allow you to cash out only expiring miles in the process, thanks to the sliding scale option.

The promo is a slightly different structure than KrisShop has previously run for these kind of deals, since you will initially have to redeem at the year-round 1 cent per mile rate, then the miles back will be credited to your account within 5-12 weeks after the the promotion period, which could mean waiting until 23rd May 2026 to see them land back in your account.

Miles credited back to your account under this offer will have KrisFlyer’s usual three-year validity, even if the original miles you used to redeem were expiring.

Assuming the best use of miles – a flight redemption with Singapore Airlines or a partner airline – isn’t one of your options, our recently-updated list starts to look a little sad value-wise.

However, as you can see a KrisShop purchase is currently one of the better “cash out” options between now and 28th February 2026, with a wide range of products available.

Do note that products purchased under this promotion are not valid for returns and refunds. Only 1-for-1 product exchanges are allowed.

Holders of the KrisFlyer UOB Credit or Debit Card have access to a slightly better deal running from 16th to 28th February 2026, offering 18% miles back on the miles portion of any eligible purchase.

To qualify, you must spend a minimum of S$200 on your KrisFlyer UOB card in the same transaction, combined with a minimum of 100 KrisFlyer miles. In this case, 18% miles back lifts the redemption value from 1 cent to 1.22 cents per mile.

There are some important caveats to note.

First, this promotion cannot be combined with the site-wide 15% offer described above – KrisFlyer UOB cardholders who meet the minimum spend criteria should opt for this 18% promotion instead, as it is the better deal.

Second, this promotion is valid on KrisShop.com only and is explicitly not valid via the Kris+ app, unlike the site-wide 15% promotion.

Third, it is subject to a hard cap – only the first 200 eligible transactions will qualify, with a combined pool of 410,000 KrisFlyer miles available.

This is a fairly tight limit, so if you’re planning to take advantage of this offer, don’t leave it until the final days of the promotion.

Fourth, the miles will be credited by 28th June 2026, over a month later than the 5-12 week window for the main promotion.

Finally, this promotion is only valid for delivery to Singapore addresses. Phew!

Full terms and conditions for this parallel UOB promotion are available here.

One important thing to consider is that KrisShop isn’t always the cheapest place to source items, with some heavy markups applied in some cases.

Make sure you shop around before committing, to ensure you’re either getting the cheapest deal anyway, or that the miles you are earning by using KrisShop instead of a cheaper alternative outweigh any additional cash cost.

If you can source the item you are looking for cheaper elsewhere, you’re not really getting 1.18 mpd for your miles under this offer, so do shop around first.

One nice exception is when buying price-controlled items like Apple products, which can’t be sourced cheaper elsewhere. For these, you can practically guarantee 1.18 cents per mile during this deal.

Which credit card to use for KrisShop purchases

If you’re sticking to the regular earning method at KrisShop, or making a part miles / part cash purchase under this offer, you will need to pay for the remaining balance by credit card.

KrisShop purchases code under MCC 5309: Duty Free Stores, and that means you can tap into some 4 mpd earn rates with a variety of credit cards, subject to their monthly requirements and spending caps.

Here’s an example of the cards which should give you upwards of 4 mpd for KrisShop.com transactions (KrisShop via Kris+ in-app payment transactions shown separately).

One important consideration if you are making a part-cash purchase under this promotion is which platform you use to complete it.

The promotion is valid on both KrisShop.com and the KrisShop on Kris+ app, but your credit card earn rate may differ significantly between the two. Most notably, the Citi Rewards card drops from 4 mpd on KrisShop.com to just 0.4 mpd on Kris+, since mobile wallet payments are excluded from its bonus earning regardless of merchant MCC.

Similarly, the KrisFlyer Amex cards lose their 2 mpd KrisShop bonus rate on Kris+ purchases. For these cards, sticking to the desktop site will ensure you get the best combined return from both the miles-back promotion and any credit card spending.

Summary

KrisShop is offering 15% miles back site-wide for all KrisFlyer miles redemptions, between now and the end of February 2026.

This applies with no brand exclusions (except gift cards), and can be applied to both partial and full miles redemption, potentially allowing you to optimise use of only expiring miles quite nicely.

We are certainly not suggesting that you rush and cash out your miles at 1.18 cents each, but if miles expiry is looming and there’s something you need at the KrisShop – you could do a lot worse.

Of course, do be sure to shop around before committing to a KrisShop purchase, since it’s not always the cheapest place to source products.

As always though, do try to lock in a flight redemption with your expiring miles if you can – it’s almost always the best value you’ll get.
