OCBC Rewards Card offering 26,000 miles sign-up bonus

Get a new OCBC Rewards card by 30th June and earn 26,000 bonus miles plus Delsey luggage for S$600 spend, with no annual fee.

OCBC has launched a rare sign-up bonus for its Rewards Card, with the opportunity for new-to-bank customers to pick up 26,000 miles for clocking only S$600 in retail spend during the first 30 days of card membership, for applications made by 30th June 2026.

This cards offers 4 mpd on a range of online and offline shopping spend in a variety of useful categories like department store, clothing and electronics spend, with a monthly spend cap of S$1,110, and up to 6 mpd if some of that spend is at selected retailers, which change on a rotating basis each quarter.

Provided you don’t currently hold an OCBC credit card (any variant, not just the Rewards one), and you haven’t held one in the last 12 months prior to 25th March 2026, you’re eligible for the promotion.

Existing supplementary OCBC credit card cardholders are sadly not eligible to participate in the promotion.

The promotion runs for applications made from 25th March 2026 to 30th June 2026, and your card must be approved by 30th July 2026 at the latest.

This deal is structured into two elements:

  • Spend S$300-599 in first 30 days
Delsey Air Armour Medium Expandable 68cm Luggage
  • Spend S$600+ in first 30 days
    Additional 65,000 OCBC$ (26,000 miles)

There are also some Disney Winnie the Pooh Packing Cubes available while stocks last, for those spending at least S$300, but you may or may not receive these so don’t count on this element.

From 1st April to 30th June, the Disney premium switches to a Mandalorian Duffel Bag and luggage tags, again subject to availability.

Qualifying spend

Spending S$600 in eligible retail transactions to earn the luggage gift and the all-important 26,000 miles sign-up bonus in the first 30 days isn’t too difficult for most of our readers, but do make sure you steer clear of the usual list of excluded categories and organisations, as outlined here (see sections 3h and 3i).

These no-nos include digital wallet top-ups (GrabPay, YouTrip, Shopee Pay, Singtel Dash), payment for insurance premiums, bus / MRT and transit spend, and other specific MCCs like education and government services.

When will you get your gift and bonus points?

For both the Delsey luggage and the 65,000 OCBC$ (26,000 miles) sign-up bonus, you can expect to be informed of the redemption details (or be credited directly with the miles bonus) within five months of the end of the promotion period.

That’s quite a long wait in both cases – potentially as late as 30th November 2026, eight months from now.

You can transfer your OCBC$ into several loyalty schemes, including KrisFlyer here in Singapore, but the conversion ratios are variable so not all programmes offer a good deal.

Our conclusion? It regrettably no longer distinguishes itself among 4 mpd credit cards in Singapore, lacking any significant selling points that other cards in this category don’t already do better, like these ones:

  • Citi Rewards: 4 mpd on non-travel online spend, up to $1,000 per month
  • DBS WWMC: 4 mpd on all online spend, including travel, up to $1,000 per month
  • UOB Lady’s Solitaire: 4 mpd on up to two specified bonus categories, up to $750 per month per category
  • UOB Lady’s: 4 mpd on one specified bonus category, up to $1,000 per month

The OCBC Rewards Card is probably now only worth considering if you’re already holding the cards listed above and you’re regularly maxing out their monthly spend limits, and can therefore use it as an overflow option for bonus miles earning.

That’s a very limited use case, which is a shame because it was once a must-have, but this sign-up bonus with no annual fee in the first year is a compelling deal nonetheless.

Summary

It’s not often we see a good miles sign-up bonus for the OCBC Rewards Card, but 26,000 miles for just S$600 in spend with no annual fee in the first year is a good offer, especially with free Delsey luggage thrown in.

Just don’t expect much from the card beyond that initial bonus.

As we covered in our recent review, the OCBC Rewards Card no longer has a compelling edge over other 4 mpd options like the Citi Rewards or DBS Woman’s World Card, and most readers will find it hard to justify keeping long-term unless they’re already maxing out those alternatives.

Apply, hit the S$600 spend, collect your 26,000 miles and luggage, then reassess whether it earns a permanent slot in your wallet.
