Singapore Airlines is running two limited-time promotions from 26th March 2026 to 16th April 2026: 25% off seat selection fees on SIA-operated flights, and a separate deal offering 10% off student fares to selected destinations.
These are part of the carrier’s NATAS Travel 2026 promotion.
25% off seat selection
Between 26th March 2026 and 16th April 2026, passengers holding Singapore Airlines tickets will benefit from 25% off advance seat selection on SIA-operated flights.
The discount is applied on top of the existing KrisFlyer member discounts of 5-15%, so if you’ve been on the fence about forking out for an extra legroom, forward zone or solo seat, now might be the time.
Simply sign in to your account before purchasing to benefit from the additional member discount.

The longer the route, the higher the baseline seat selection fee, so that’s where the 25% saving really starts to add up.
An extra legroom seat on a long-haul sector to the USA or Europe, for example, sees a meaningful reduction in the cost, while at the top end a Solo Seat in Premium Economy on non-stop A350 ULR flights gets a US$42 (S$55) discount in each direction.

One thing we noted in our searches which is not mentioned in the promotion is that the 25% discount only seems to apply for one-way or round-trip tickets originating in Singapore, but that will be the case for most of our readers anyway.
KrisFlyer and PPS Club members can stack both discounts, with additional reduction of the seat selection fees as shown in the tables below.
Where payment is still required for seat selection, a discount applies for KrisFlyer members, as shown below.

10% off student fares to selected destinations
During the same sales period (26th March 2026 to 16th April 2026), verified KrisFlyer student members can save an extra 10% on student fares from Singapore to selected destinations.
This is on top of the standard 10% student fare discount, for a total of 20% off (or 19% if the additional 10% is applied on top of the already-discounted student fare rather than additively on the base fare), and comes with the usual student benefits including additional baggage allowance and a one-time booking fee waiver.
Outbound travel must fall between 27th March 2026 and 31st January 2027, though eligible travel dates vary by destination as outlined in the following table.

A few things to note:
- The additional 10% discount applies only to Economy Class Lite and Value fare types.
- It’s not applicable on promotional fares.
- Bookings must be made on singaporeair.com, and it’s only valid for SIA-operated flights.
- Some destinations are limited to specific flight numbers, so check the list above carefully before booking.

Summary
Both of these promotions run from 26th March 2026 to 16th April 2026, but the seat selection discount is the more broadly useful of the two, especially if you’ve been eyeing an extra legroom or solo seat on a long-haul sector, with the 25% saving stacked with KrisFlyer member discounts bringing the cost down to a level that might tip the balance.
The student fare deal is narrower in scope, limited to seven destinations on Lite and Value fares only, but a total of 19-20% off the base fare is worth a look for those heading to one of the eligible cities during the travel window.
