Back in July this year, hotel booking app HoteLux launched a new bonus KrisFlyer miles earning offer for those locking in pre-paid stays through to 1st January 2025, for bookings made by 28th September 2024, while also reintroducing a status match for KrisFlyer Elite members.
The good news is that the both offers have been extended, with the stay bonus even enhanced slightly, since it now includes post-paid rates as well as advance payment methods.
For those unfamiliar, HoteLux is a hotel booking app that allows you to access travel advisor rates at over 4,000 luxury hotels worldwide.
This allows you to tap rates from programs like Virtuoso, Marriott STARS, and Rosewood Elite, including perks such as third-night-free offers, additional hotel credits, and elite membership benefits. You’ll often receive the hotel’s best available rate, without the hassle of phone calls or back-and-forth emails typically required when working with most travel advisors.
500 or 1,000 Bonus KrisFlyer miles per booking
For bookings made between now and 31st December 2024, with stay dates right through to 30th June 2025, elite tier HoteLux members can earn 500 or 1,000 KrisFlyer miles for each qualified stay.
- 500 miles will be awarded for post-paid rates (pay hotel on departure)
- 1,000 miles will be awarded for pre-paid rates (pay online at time of booking)
The following HoteLux members are eligible:
- HoteLux Elite
- HoteLux Elite Plus
- HoteLux 1A Club
Non-HoteLux members must join the membership programme and upgrade to Elite status in order to qualify for the offer (see below for the ongoing KrisFlyer free status match opportunity).
To participate, you’ll need to register your KrisFlyer membership number on the campaign landing page via the HoteLux app when logged on to your account, between now and 31st December 2024.
Each qualified stay will then be awarded with either 500 or 1,000 KrisFlyer miles check-out bonus within 30 days of completion of the stay, with the following conditions:
- Register via the app between 29th September 2024 and 31st December 2024 inclusive
- Book your stay between 29th September 2024 and 31st December 2024 inclusive
- Stay period must be between 29th September 2024 and 30th June 2025 inclusive
- Members who signed up for this campaign between 22nd June 2024 and 28th September 2024 will receive the benefits of this offer without the need for further registration.
- Eligible stays are all those booked via the HoteLux app, with no upper cap.
- 1,000 miles will be awarded for bookings with advance online payment, 500 miles will be awarded for bookings where you pay later at the property
- Consecutive stays / nights at the same hotel, regardless of how many bookings are made, how many room type changes occur, and regardless of check-in and check-out times, will only be counted as one stay.
- Multiple bookings at the same hotel on the same date are eligible. In this case, 500 or 1,000 KrisFlyer bonus miles will be issued based on the number of rooms stayed.
- Bookings made with a voucher are not eligible for the bonus KrisFlyer miles.
It’s nice that those wishing to pay on check-out at the hotel are now entitled to a 500 KrisFlyer miles bonus, since this was not possible during the original campaign.
Status match extended
If you’re a KrisFlyer Elite Gold or PPS Club member, don’t forget that you can score a free status match to HotelLux Elite or Elite Plus membership tiers.
That offer was originally running between now and the end of 2024, but has also been extended to 22nd June 2025.

Your status tier will be upgraded to HoteLux Elite or HoteLux Elite Plus for 12 months, based on your existing KrisFlyer or PPS status tier.
A 12-month subscription to HoteLux Elite usually costs US$349, while HoteLux Elite Plus costs US$499.
You must submit your status match request by 22nd June 2025. If you’re a KrisFlyer Elite Gold member approaching PPS Club status and expect to upgrade before then, it might be wise to wait. This way, you can secure a full 12 months of HoteLux Elite Plus status.
To retain your status after the 12-month match expires you will need to earn a specific number of qualifying nights booked through HoteLux within the upgraded membership year, as follows.

Transfer HoteLux points to KrisFlyer miles
As part of this partnership, you also convert your HoteLux Points into KrisFlyer miles, but unfortunately the conversion ratios are not very attractive.

HoteLux points are worth US$0.09 (around S$0.12) each as room vouchers against future stays, in the following denominations:
- US$400 voucher for 4,399 Points
- US$500 voucher for 5,499 Points
- US$600 voucher for 6,599 Points
- US$700 voucher for 7,699 Points
- US$800 voucher for 8,799 Points
Points can be used as part payment for a booking – so you can use the US$400 voucher, for example, for a stay of US$450 (you’ll simply pay the rest separately in this case).
That is usually much better value than you’ll achieve when converting them to KrisFlyer miles.
Otherwise you are effectively ‘buying’ KrisFlyer miles at the following rates:
- Elite: 4 Singapore cents per mile
- Elite Plus: 3 Singapore cents per mile
- A1 Club: 2.4 Singapore cents per mile
That’s unlikely to be of any interest to our readers, since you’ll almost never realise such high valuations for your miles, even when used for future First and Business Class flight redemptions.
However, transferring 4,000 HoteLux points to KrisFlyer miles allows you to ‘cash out’ a smaller volume of points that may not be enough for a hotel room voucher. This can be a useful option if you’ve decided not to accumulate more HoteLux points in the future.
If you do wish to convert, simply do so via the HoteLux app by clicking your profile name at the top left of the screen after logging in, then clicking on Redeem KrisFlyer Miles.
You will then need to enter your KrisFlyer account membership number and your first and last name as they are registered with KrisFlyer to initiate the transfer.
Summary
HoteLux has extended its bonus KrisFlyer miles offer for those booking via the mobile app between now and the end of 2024, for stays completed by 30th June 2025.
This time, pay-at-hotel rates now qualify for a 500-mile bonus, though pre-paid rates still earn the full 1,000 miles per booking. With no cap on bonus miles, this offer may appeal to Elite members in the programme with upcoming travel plans over the next eight months.
Additionally, the free status match offer has been extended, allowing KrisFlyer Elite Gold or PPS Club members to score HoteLux Elite membership tiers for 12 months at no cost until 22nd June 2025.
The big benefit of HoteLux isn’t that it offers anything luxury travel advisors can’t, but that the whole process can be completed quickly and directly though its mobile app, without the need to pick up the phone or rely and back-and-forth emails.
