For some time now FairPrice Finest and FairPrice Xtra have been Kris+ partners in Singapore, but only on the “burn miles” side of the programme, when you redeem for FairPrice Group gift vouchers – sadly there’s no earning at the checkout with your weekly grocery shopping.

Now there’s finally a FairPrice earning deal our readers will want to be aware of, via FairPrice Online.

FairPrice Online vouchers earn 1 mpd via Kris+

In a new partnership, Kris+ users in Singapore can now purchase FairPrice Online vouchers via the Kris+ app and earn 1 mpd, in addition to up to 4 mpd awarded by your credit card issuer.

At the top end, that means potentially netting 5 mpd for FairPrice Online vouchers when you use the right credit card.

Two voucher options are available via Kris+, for S$60 or S$80 off your FairPrice Online transaction.

You can purchase as many vouchers as you like. Each one will generate a promo code that you can then use against a future FairPrice Online order.

Do note the following terms:

• Vouchers are valid until 13th November 2025 (around one year from now).
• Only one voucher (promo code) can be applied to each transaction. For example, if you buy 10 vouchers, you will have to apply them individually to 10 separate orders.
• There is no refund when applying the voucher for an order cheaper than its value (so make sure each order is at least at or above face value of the voucher).
• The vouchers cannot be used on orders with certain products, like infant milk formula (order champagne instead!).

Here’s an example for a S$80 off voucher I purchased yesterday:

Given the one-year voucher validity, this new option could prove a useful way to use up any excess spend each month on your eligible 4 mpd cards, like the DBS WWMC, for future online shopping orders.

Which credit card to use

The following cards will earn at their bonus rates of between 3 mpd and 4 mpd for Kris+ spend when purchasing FairPrice Online vouchers.

With this deal you can earn an unlimited 4 mpd with the KrisFlyer UOB credit card (3 mpd for the Kris+ spend and 1 mpd from Kris+ itself).

Don’t use your Citi Rewards card to make payment with Apple Pay or Google Pay on Kris+, since online transactions using this card specifically exclude mobile wallet payments and will therefore earn at the basic rate of 0.4 mpd.

KrisFlyer members can now earn 1 mpd buying FairPrice Online vouchers for future grocery shopping orders, while still netting up to 4 mpd when using the right credit card for the transaction.

KrisFlyer UOB credit card holders can effectively get an unlimited 4 mpd from this deal, which is great since that would not usually apply for grocery purchases with this card – either online or in-store.

There’s no upper limit to the number of vouchers you can purchase under this offer, and they are valid for one year, so this could be a great way to maximise miles earning when you’re not quite hitting the spend threshold with cards like the DBS WWMC.
