Earlier this month, Singapore Airlines confirmed its flight schedules for the northern summer season from late March 2026 through to late October 2026, including days of operation and aircraft type allocation, and we’re now taking the opportunity update to our longstanding guide to the carrier’s First Class and Suites cabin products, by route and individual flight number.
While SIA operates one of four different Business Class seat types on every single route across its network, it’s not the same story for the carrier’s most prestigious First Class cabins, with only two seat types currently on offer.
For the upcoming summer season there will be 19 destinations seeing regular operation with these sought-after products.
Only two seat types – for now
Before COVID-19 there were four different First Class and Suites cabin products still in service with Singapore Airlines, depending on the specific aircraft you were travelling on.
However, the airline brought its 12 Airbus A380s back post-pandemic only once the latest Suites product had been retrofitted, so we saw an early withdrawal of the pioneering 2007 Suites from the Singapore Airlines network.
That was bittersweet, as it was the product we personally loved the most.
Additionally, premature retirement of the Boeing 777-300 (non-ER) aircraft means we said farewell to the 2006 First Class cabin in October 2020.
That leaves only one First Class and one Suites product in use across the fleet in 2026, as shown below.

An all-new First Class product will be introduced on the airline’s Airbus A350 ULR aircraft from 2027, the same one that will also adorn long-delayed Boeing 777-9 aircraft, from 2027 at the earliest, at least seven years later than originally planned.

Los Angeles and New York look set to be the launch routes for ‘2027 F’ in Q1 next year on the A350 ULR, with LA looking like the obvious launch choice, based on our recent analysis of reshuffled schedules during the refits.
Changes for the summer 2026 season
Before we dive into the route and flight number tables for First Class and Suites products on the network, it’s worth pointing out that between now and the end of October 2026 Singapore Airlines is tweaking the distribution of these cabins, most notably as follows:
- Amsterdam gets an upgrade to the Boeing 777-300ER from July 2026, restoring First Class to the route for the first time since 2016, as we reported back in September.
- Auckland will retain First Class during the northern summer season, something we haven’t seen since 2019, thanks to Boeing 777-300ER deployment on daily SQ285/286 flights from May 2026 to October 2026.
- Beijing Capital retains a daily First Class option on the Boeing 777-300ER for the summer season, but take note that this shifts between SQ802/807 and SQ800/805 flights on various dates.
- Delhi will see one of its two daily flights get the usual seasonal downgauge from an Airbus A380 to a Boeing 777-300ER between mid-June and late July 2026, meaning 2013 First Class seats instead of 2017 Suites during this period.
- Dubai will have its daily Boeing 777 service upgraded to Airbus A380 aircraft from 29th March 2026, the first time the superjumbo and Suites have featured on the route.
- Frankfurt has its Airbus A380 service restored from late March 2026 through to the end of the summer season, with SQ326/325 flights once again offering Suites.
- Hong Kong will see its daily four-class Boeing 777-300ER flight temporarily upgauged to the Airbus A380 with Suites from 21st June 2026 to 25th July 2026.
- Jakarta drops from four times daily with First Class down to just twice daily for the summer season – you’ll have to pick SQ950/951 or SQ964/965 to lock in the airline’s top cabin class on that route between late March 2026 and late October 2026.
- London Heathrow will have one of its daily Boeing 777-300ER flights downgauged to the Airbus A350 Long Haul from July 2026, removing First Class from SQ306/305 in the process, though excitingly this is a likely European debut for the airline’s new Business Class cabin product, as we highlighted back in August last year.
- Mumbai will see one of its two daily flights get the usual seasonal downgauge from an Airbus A380 to a Boeing 777-300ER between late July and late August 2026, meaning 2013 F seats instead of 2017 Suites during this period.
- Shanghai sees its daily Airbus A380 flight (SQ830/833) make a return from May 2026, including the Suites cabin, following a brief downgauge to the Boeing 777-300ER during April 2026.
- Tokyo Haneda will see its daily Boeing 777-300ER First Class service make a ‘switcheroo’ from the usual SQ636/631 across to SQ632/633 between early July and mid-August 2026.

First Class and Suites cabins by route and flight number
We’ve updated our seat type list through to the end of the IATA northern summer 2026 season (from now until 24th October 2026) to help you avoid the guesswork by offering an A-Z destination list, flight number by flight number, for each of these two seat types.
To view flight number list and the corresponding seat or suite type information, click the route of your choice to expand the table.
Routes are to and from Singapore (SIN).

Non-Singapore routes
If you’re flying First Class or Suites with Singapore Airlines on a flight sector not originating or ending in Singapore, here are the seat types used on those services.

First Class lounges
In May 2022, Singapore Airlines unveiled its latest SilverKris First Class Lounge and The Private Room at Changi Airport T3.

That offers a great experience for those flying in the carrier’s most premium cabins from home base, though if your flight is departing from T2 there’s also a new First Class SilverKris lounge there to experience, including a redesigned signature cocktail bar.

The post-COVID First Class experience
Back in September 2021 we travelled in First Class on the inaugural VTL flight from Frankfurt to Singapore, and we were happy to report that the experience hasn’t lost its shine, despite a few COVID restrictions still being in place at the time.
See our comprehensive review for a full rundown on our flight.
Pre-COVID reviews
In mid-2018 we concluded our round-the-world trip in First Class on SQ1 from San Francisco to Singapore via Hong Kong in the 2013 F cabin, and had the chance to thoroughly review it including both a long-haul and short-haul experience across the two stages of the journey.
If you haven’t tried the product, while we can’t recommend parting with Advantage award rates, we don’t think you’d be disappointed.
Meanwhile here’s our review of the Suites cabin (including the double bed), which was the first flight on our 2018 round-the-world trip from Singapore to Hong Kong.
What about Business Class?
In case you missed it, we have an equivalent (and continually updated) guide showing where SIA’s Business Class seat types are flying around the network, recently updated through to October 2026.
Business Class Seat Types by Route
Since all Singapore Airlines aircraft have Business Class (it’s the only cabin that’s fleet-wide), this guide also has the benefit of showing you the aircraft types operating on all SIA services during this period.
