Win 90,000 KrisFlyer miles with Kris+ and iStudio

Get a prize draw entry for every S$599+ purchase via Kris+ at iStudio stores between now and 31st May, for a chance to win 90,000 KrisFlyer miles.

Kris+ is offering entries into a prize draw over the next two months for customers of one of its partner merchants iStudio, the largest Apple reseller in Singapore, which also offers a range of electronic goods and accessories from the likes of Belkin, Gear4, and mophie.

iStudio has been a Kris+ partner since May 2022, and allows you to accrue 1 mpd on all products when making payment via Apple Pay or Google Pay via the app, though unfortunately this was cut from 3 mpd back in May 2023.

Nonetheless, the earning boost still makes iStudio a good option for earning extra miles when purchasing Apple (or other) products, especially for big-ticket items like smartphones and laptops.

Also if you’re travelling soon iStudio’s outlets at Changi Airport’s T1, T2, T3 and T4 transit areas even allow you to buy tax-free (9% saving) and still earn 1 mpd on top of your credit card points.

90,000 KrisFlyer miles promo

Kris+ and iStudio are offering one winner a grand total of 90,000 miles in a new prize draw giveaway, but you’ll have to be a big spender this time round to participate.

Every time you spend S$599 or more (before GST) on any product at an iStudio Singapore outlet between 1st April 2026 and 31st May 2026 using the Kris+ app to earn an additional 1 mpd on the purchase, you’ll earn one entry into the prize draw.

You may recall that more generous prize draw promotions have been offered in the past, ranging from 104,000 to 214,000 miles, with prize draw entries for spend of just S$80 or more, so this one is less attractive overall, but may result in a slightly better chance of winning thanks to the higher minimum spend level.

You can accrue as many entries into the draw as you like, but you cannot split a larger transaction into smaller payments to gain multiple entries (e.g. a single S$1,800 + GST transaction is still only one entry, not three).

You are not allowed to split your payment for a single purchase.

The winner of the miles will be announced via iStudio’s social media platforms. The winner will receive 90,000 KrisPay miles in their Kris+ account, and has the option to instantly transfer these 1:1 to KrisFlyer miles, but must do so within 21 days of them being credited.

Terms and conditions for the offer are available here.

Note that you’ll also get an entry whenever redeeming KrisPay miles through the Kris+ app in whole or part for your S$599+ iStudio purchase, but we do not recommend using your miles this way, since you’ll get a poor 1 cent value per mile.

Our advice? Only earn miles using the Kris+ app where possible, then transfer them straight to your KrisFlyer account (time limit: 21 days), where you’ll get best value from them for a flight redemption in future.

What does 90,000 miles get you?

90,000 KrisFlyer miles will be exactly enough to redeem a Saver return flight from Singapore to Malé or Mumbai in Business Class on Singapore Airlines.

While that’s iStudio’s example redemption, you’re certainly not limited to that option and in fact the lucky winner can use these 90,000 miles however they like.

A return saver award from Singapore to Shanghai and back in the 2013 Business Class costs 90,000 KrisFlyer miles, the same as the prize in this promotion.

Alternative awards you can achieve with 90,000 miles post-devaluation would include:

  • A round-trip Saver Business Class redemption from Singapore to Beijing, Malé or Mumbai in Business Class.
  • A one-way Saver Premium Economy redemption from Singapore to Europe.
  • Two round-trips from Singapore to Bali, Kuala Lumpur or Penang in Saver Business Class.

Alternatively, these miles are now worth at least S$900 in cashback against future Kris+ purchases, against future confirmed SIA or Scoot flight tickets, or for items at KrisShop or activities booked through Pelago, thanks to a 2025 hike in on-ground spend value.

Nonetheless, you’ll get better value from a First or Business Class flight redemption with SIA or even Scoot in some cases – via the award charts – provided you have travel plans coming up.

Locations

There are 22 iStudio store locations across Singapore, including four currently available in the transit area at Changi Airport for tax-free purchases.

iStudio also offers Kris+ customers a 10% discount on third-party products and accessories (i.e. non-Apple-branded), or 15% for PPS Club members, though this also now excludes speakers/audio products, software, external hard disks and thumb drives, so may be of limited use.

Which card to use

iStudio purchases via the Kris+ app code under MCC 5732: Electronics Stores, allowing you to tap into the following bonus earn rates with some Singapore-issued credit cards.

Card Earn rate Notes /
Spend Cap

DBS WWMC
(see our review)
4 mpd On on up to S$1,000 of online spend per calendar month, including when paying at a merchant using Apple Pay or Google Pay via the Kris+ app (all MCCs).
HSBC Revo Card SmallHSBC Revolution
(see our review)
4 mpd On contactless payments at electrical goods stores (MCC 5732), capped at S$1,000 per calendar month.
UOB KF

3 mpd No minimum spend

Even if you don’t hold one of these cards, or you’ve already maxed out their monthly or annual bonus category spend where applicable, a relatively mundane general spend option like the Citi PremierMiles will still net you 1.2 mpd, plus the 1 mpd from Kris+ itself, for a total effective earning of 2.2 mpd at iStudio.

Summary

If you’re in the market for an Apple product or an accessory purchase, iStudio already offers a bonus of 1 mpd when you pay using the Kris+ app, on top of your regular credit card points.

There’s now an added incentive, which is a prize draw entry for every Kris+ purchase at iStudio of S$599+ (excluding GST) between now and the end of May 2026, with the winner picking up 90,000 KrisFlyer miles, enough to fly round-trip to Shanghai and other destinations in Business Class on a Saver award.
