Earlier this month we wrote about the latest Kris+ dining promotion in Singapore, with 10 mpd on offer when you make in-app payments at 42 restaurants island-wide, in addition to the miles or points you’ll earn using your credit card for the payment itself.
As you may recall, Kris+ spread its wings to Australia in November last year, and the good news is that the latest ‘Feast to Fly’ 10 mpd promotion is also on offer there, with a generous 93 cafes, bars and restaurants on the list, more than twice as many as the Singapore deal.
That means if you’re based in Sydney or Melbourne, or your travels take you there during the next six weeks including over the peak Singapore school holiday period in June, you should definitely consider checking which merchants are on the list for additional miles earning.
On top of that, you can score 150 additional miles just for making your reservation in advance via Quandoo, though sadly it’s only an option for 4 out of the 93 participating restaurants.
All KrisPay miles earned from this promotion can be immediately (and instantly) converted into KrisFlyer miles, which is exactly what you should be doing with them, so do be sure to transfer straight away and in full after settling your bill using the app.

A total of 56 bars, cafes and restaurants, with 66 outlets between them city-wide, are participating in this latest ‘Feast to Fly’ deal for dining in Sydney anytime between 3rd May 2024 and 30th June 2024.

Additional discounts
Kris+ is also offering additional discounts at several of these 93 dining, cafe and bar partners during this promotion.
These include discounted cash vouchers that you can purchase via the app in advance of your visit to offset the bill, with 10 mpd earning when you buy the voucher itself.
Fixed discounts like 10% off your bill or a complimentary dish or drink are also available at some merchants.

Which card to use
Kris+ earn partners in Australia accept in-app payment via Apple Pay or Google Pay using Visa or Mastercard (but not American Express cards, which are only accepted via Kris+ in Singapore).
As you probably already know, with Kris+ you’ll earn KrisPay miles for your transaction (which you then can and should convert into KrisFlyer miles), on top of the usual points you’ll get when using your best credit card to make in-app payment.
Australian credit cards have rather lacklustre earn rates, but if you’re visiting Sydney or Melbourne here’s a list of Singapore-issued cards that should give you the best earn rate for Kris+ transactions at these merchants during the promotion (Australia Kris+ spend codes as online and FCY).
The following cards will earn at their bonus rate of between 3 mpd and 4 mpd, either for all Kris+ spend in Australia, or for merchants in the specific dining MCCs listed.

UOB Lady’s SolitaireDon’t use your Citi Rewards card to make payment with Apple Pay or Google Pay on Kris+, since online transactions using this card specifically exclude mobile wallet payments and will therefore earn at the basic rate of 0.4 mpd.
Don’t forget to transfer straight to KrisFlyer miles
KrisPay miles earned through Kris+ can only be transferred to your KrisFlyer account within 7 days of the transaction. To do so, simply tap on the “Transfer to KrisFlyer” button which will appear on the miles earned confirmation screen or transaction details screen.
You can do so later (within 7 days), but why wait?
Remember that KrisPay miles earned per transaction can only be transferred to your account in their entirety. If you earned 100 KrisPay miles from a single Kris+ transaction, for example, the full 100 KrisPay miles must be transferred to your KrisFlyer account. If you have already spent some of your KrisPay miles earned, a partial transfer option is not available.
We therefore recommend transferring to KrisFlyer immediately following any Kris+ earning transaction, in case you either forget or make a mistake later.
100 to 150 extra miles with Quandoo
KrisFlyer recently launched a partnership with restaurant reservation portal Quandoo, and currently there’s a 50% bonus miles promotion ongoing for bookings made and completed through to 27th May 2024.
That’s good news because it means netting an additional 150 KrisFlyer miles just for booking and attending the reservation itself, but sadly it’s only possible at 4 of the 93 participating restaurants in the Kris+ 10 mpd Australia deal:

- 3 Brothers on Chapel (Melbourne)
- Belgian Beer Cafe (Melbourne)
- Kan Eang By Thai Culinary (Melbourne)
Booking via Quandoo is a no-brainer if you’re thinking of dining at one of these restaurants between now and the end of June 2024, with the reservation miles plus the 10 mpd via Kris+ payment plus up to 4 mpd on your credit card potentially adding up to a serious stash.
For example, if you book a table between now and 27th May 2024 at Le Monde in Sydney via Quandoo (having linked your KrisFlyer account to your Quandoo account) and spend S$200 on dinner using your DBS WWMC card via Kris+, you’ll receive:
- 150 KrisFlyer miles for attending the reservation
- 2,000 KrisFlyer miles for payment via the Kris+ app
- 800 KrisFlyer miles from your DBS Points for the payment itself
That’s a total of 2,950 KrisFlyer miles for a S$200 dinner – equivalent to nearly 15 mpd!
Do note that for reservations made and attended from 28th May 2024 onwards, Quandoo will revert to awarding 100 KrisFlyer miles per booking.
Earn Elite miles or PPS Value for Kris+ spend
Remember that between 5th March 2024 and 4th June 2024 you can earn status credits (Elite miles or PPS Value) for Kris+ spend, as part of SIA’s “Earn Status Credits Beyond the Skies” campaign, potentially helping you climb the KrisFlyer status ladder.
This also stacks with the Australia 10 mpd dining promotion.

Summary
Kris+ is offering 10 mpd at 42 restaurants across Singapore in May and June 2024, but that’s not all.
Now that miles earning through the platform has spread its wings to Australia, there are an additional 93 bar, cafe and restaurant options there too, also at 10 mpd during this ‘Feast to Fly’ promotion.
This could prove very useful if you’re based in Sydney or Melbourne, or you’re simply taking a trip there between now and 30th June 2024, a period that also includes the peak Singapore school holidays when many of our readers are spending time overseas.
10 mpd from this promotion comes in addition to the points you’ll earn on your credit card, for a total haul of 14 mpd at the top level, but even with a decent general spend card offering 2 mpd on FCY transactions, you can still net a respectable 12 mpd during this offer.
4 of these restaurants even offer pre-booking through Quandoo, for 100 or 150 additional KrisFlyer miles per attended reservation.
Remember to transfer your KrisPay miles immediately into the KrisFlyer programme after earning, since if they become partially used by mistake or you forget after 7 days, they’ll be stuck in the Kris+ app, where their value is dismal.
