Earlier this week we wrote about a new Kris+ miles earning deal in Singapore offering 9 mpd instead of usual year-round 2 mpd – 6 mpd earn rates at over 40 merchants across the Lion City, as part of the app’s 5th birthday celebration.
With credit card points in the mix as well, that means up to 13 mpd total earning at these outlets for the entire month of October 2025 – a good deal if there’s spend you will be making anyway or if any of these merchants pique you interest for the first time.
Well if you’re based in Sydney or Melbourne, or you’re visiting these cities in October, there’s a much better offer in place ‘down under’, with the app offering a record 15 mpd at every single one of its 228 earn merchants in these cities, before credit card points are even accounted for.

Better still, at current exchange rates 15 mpd for Australian Dollar (AUD) spend is equivalent to 17.6 mpd in Singapore Dollar (SGD) terms, plus credit card points potentially worth another 4 mpd on top of that – for an impressive 21.6 mpd total earn rate.
Kris+ 15 mpd in Australia
When Kris+ initially expanded miles earning to Australia there were only 44 participating merchants in Sydney and Melbourne, but that total has expanded rapidly, with 228 merchants now on the list across both cities.
The app is currently offering 15 mpd at all 228 of these merchants in both Sydney and Melbourne between now 31st October 2025.
Earning is uncapped, and these miles are awarded instantly in place of the usual 1 mpd to 3 mpd accrual rates at all outlets when you make a purchase using the app.
Here’s an example of how you can earn 21.6 mpd at these merchants in October 2025, using a Singapore credit card (DBS WWMC) to pay via the Kris+ app.

Additional discounts
Kris+ is also offering additional discounts at several of these merchant partners during this promotion.
These include discounted cash vouchers that you can purchase via the app in advance of your visit to offset the bill, with 15 mpd earning when you buy the voucher itself (check the redemption deadline).
In this example you can get 15% off a voucher for AU$100 off the bill at BangPop in Melbourne, earning 15 mpd for the AU$85.00 payment (1,275 miles), then redeem the voucher right through till mid-2026 (within 12 months of purchase).
If your bill comes to more than the voucher value, just pay the balance via the Kris+ app and earn even more miles.

Which card to use
Kris+ earn partners in Australia accept in-app payment via Apple Pay or Google Pay using Visa or Mastercard (but not American Express cards, which are only accepted via Kris+ in Singapore).
As you probably already know, with Kris+ you’ll earn KrisPay miles for your transaction (which you then can and should convert into KrisFlyer miles), on top of the usual points you’ll get when using your best credit card to make in-app payment.
Australian credit cards have rather lacklustre earn rates, but if you’re visiting Sydney or Melbourne here’s a list of Singapore-issued cards that should give you the best earn rate for Kris+ transactions at these merchants during the promotion (Australia Kris+ spend codes as Online and FCY).
The following cards will earn at their bonus rate of between 3 mpd and 4 mpd for all Kris+ spend in Australia, though some are subject to minimum spend and/or have upper spend caps.

UOB Lady’s SolitaireDon’t use your Citi Rewards card to make payment with Apple Pay or Google Pay on Kris+, since online transactions using this card specifically exclude mobile wallet payments and will therefore earn at the basic rate of 0.4 mpd.
Don’t forget to transfer straight to KrisFlyer miles
KrisPay miles earned through Kris+ can only be transferred to your KrisFlyer account within 21 days of the transaction. To do so, simply tap on the “Transfer to KrisFlyer” button which will appear on the miles earned confirmation screen or transaction details screen.
You can do so later (within 21 days), but why wait?
Remember that KrisPay miles earned per transaction can only be transferred to your account in their entirety. If you earned 100 KrisPay miles from a single Kris+ transaction, for example, the full 100 KrisPay miles must be transferred to your KrisFlyer account. If you have already spent some of your KrisPay miles earned, a partial transfer option is not available.
We therefore recommend transferring to KrisFlyer immediately following any Kris+ earning transaction, in case you either forget or make a mistake later.
However, there’s now the option to auto-transfer accrued KrisPay miles to your KrisFlyer account without having to go through these additional clicks.
You can do so via the Wallet > Transfer to KrisFlyer page. Simply enable the ‘Auto-transfer to KrisFlyer’ button as shown above, and the process will be automated whenever you accrue KrisPay miles at a merchant.
Summary
Kris+ is really pushing its earning programme in Australia, with over 220 merchants now on board, and this offer to net an instant uncapped 15 mpd at all of them is a great opportunity if you’re based in Sydney or Melbourne, or are simply visiting this month.
With current exchange rates, our Singapore readers on a trip to these cities are actually scoring 17.6 mpd before credit card points accrual, since the 15 mpd is based on Australian Dollar spend.
17.6 mpd from this promotion comes in addition to the points you’ll earn on your credit card, for a total haul of up to 21.6 mpd at the top level, but even with a decent general spend card offering 2 mpd on FCY transactions, you can still net a fantastic 19.6 mpd during this offer.
