Back in January, Citi cut its 57,000 bonus miles sign-up deal to just 45,000 bonus miles, alongside a significant hike in the spend requirement. That offer had been due to expire on 30th June, but it’s now been rolled over unchanged through to 30th November 2026.
You’ll need to push S$14,000 of eligible spend through a new card in the first two full months in order to qualify, still well up on the S$2,000 required under offers before January.
The Citi Prestige card also saw its lounge access perks massively diluted last year, and its annual fee hiked, but this deal still allows you to effectively ‘buy’ 45,000 miles for 1.45 cents each, even if you put no value on the card’s other benefits, which also include airport limo transfers – provided you have S$14,000 spend to make!
Our full article has all the details of the most recent benefits cut, which you definitely need to consider before applying for this card for anything other than ‘cheap’ miles via the welcome bonus.
Citigold and Citigold Private Client customers also get an additional 20,000 miles, for 65,000 miles sign-up bonus in total, an effective cost of 1 cent per mile, and can unlock this deal with a slightly more lenient S$12,000 and S$10,000 respectively.
Sign-up bonus
Here are the full details of the latest Citi Prestige card sign-up bonus, for applications between 1st July 2026 and 30th November 2026.
Provided you don’t currently hold a Citi Prestige card as the primary cardholder and haven’t held a Citi Prestige card in the 12 months before application, you’ll be eligible for a bonus of up to 45,000 miles.
That means existing Citi credit card holders, for example those with the PremierMiles and/or Rewards cards in their wallet, are also eligible to apply and receive the bonus.
The deal is subject to spending S$14,000 in local or foreign currency from the approval date until the end of the second full calendar month.
For example, if you are approved for the card on 3rd July 2026, the qualifying spend period is from that date until 30th September 2026 (two full calendar months from 1st August 2026).
Here’s how it’s structured.
- 20,000 miles: For payment of S$651.82 annual fee
- 25,000 miles: For spending S$14,000 in the first two full months
- 45,000 miles: Maximum total haul
You must pay the annual fee under this deal, which is S$651.82. Your card must be approved within 30 days of the application date.
Pro Tip: Try to get approved towards the beginning of a month to give yourself almost three months to meet the spend threshold. Here’s how Citi outlines the offer:

Citi ThankYou Points (TYPs) transfer to airline miles including KrisFlyer, Asia Miles and Avios, at a 2.5:1 ratio, so a total of 112,500 TYPs is equivalent to 45,000 miles.
Remember the Citi Prestige card earns 1.3 mpd for local transactions and 2 mpd for overseas spend, so you will also earn at least 18,200 miles for the minimum S$14,000 spend itself (S$14,000 x 1.3 mpd), for a total earning of 63,200 miles, though these extra 18,200 miles aren’t part of the bonus – since you would receive them anyway without any offer running.
Cost per mile is the annual fee (S$651.82) divided by the bonus element (45,000) = 1.45 cents each.

Citigold customers get a 65,000 miles bonus
If you’re an existing Citi customer with a Citigold or Citigold Private Client relationship not currently holding the Prestige card, you can unlock a larger 65,000 miles sign-up bonus, based on the following spend requirements:

- Citigold: S$12,000 min. spend
- Citigold Private Client: S$10,000 min. spend
That allows you to buy miles for 1 cent each.
Full terms and conditions are available here.
Eligible spend
With this sign-up offer you’ll need to make sure your minimum S$14,000 spend falls under eligible categories. Citi has actually pared back its exclusion list for this offer compared with earlier ones, and now defines qualifying spend as any retail transactions (including internet purchases) which do not arise from:
- Equal Payment Plan (EPP) purchases
- Refunded, disputed, unauthorised or fraudulent retail purchases
- Quick Cash and other instalment loans
- Citi PayLite, Citi Flexibill, cash advances, quasi-cash transactions, balance transfers, annual card membership fees, interest charges and GST
- Bill payments made using the card as a source of funds
- Late payment fees
- Any other form of service or miscellaneous fees
- Citi PayAll transactions where you opt not to be charged the Citi PayAll service fee
- Top-ups of any mobile wallet or prepaid card, including GrabPay, EZ-Link and YouTrip
Notably, this list is much shorter than the one Citi attached to earlier Prestige welcome offers, which also ruled out payments to educational institutions, insurance companies, financial institutions, government bodies and non-profit organisations, plus betting and gambling.
That matters more than it might first appear.
Citi has previously clarified to Mainly Miles that categories like education fees, insurance premiums and charitable donations still count towards a welcome offer’s minimum spend even though they don’t earn base miles, and this streamlined list is consistent with that. In other words, an insurance premium or school fee you might normally write off as ‘non-earning’ can still help you clear the S$14,000.
The main exception to watch is stored value: top-ups to mobile wallets and prepaid or transit cards – GrabPay, EZ-Link, YouTrip and the like – are now explicitly excluded, so that’s no longer a route to the target.

Citi PayAll transactions are counted towards the minimum spend, provided you pay the service fee (not the zero-fee Citi PayAll option), with regular promotions to buy miles at competitive rates.
That could make a rental payment, income tax bill or insurance premium a good way to meet the minimum local spend element under this offer.
You can even achieve the spend buying Cold Storage or NTUC vouchers for future shopping, if you don’t have any immediate expenses coming up.
When are the bonus miles credited?
Bonus miles are awarded in the form of 112,500 Citi ThankYou Points within three calendar months of the end of the qualifying spend period.
For example:
- Card approved: 3rd July 2026
- Spend period: 3rd July 2026 – 30th September 2026
- Bonus miles awarded: By 31st December 2026
Bear in mind there is a S$27.25 fee each time you transfer Citi ThankYou Points to airline miles, and unfortunately the points do not pool with those accrued on other Citi cards.
Citi Prestige benefits
The Citi Prestige card earns 1.3 mpd for local transactions (SGD) and 2 mpd for overseas spend (FCY), however there is also a “relationship bonus”, which offers small boost based on your banking tenure as a Citi customer.

Long-time Citi customers with Citigold status get the best rates here of up to 1.42 mpd locally and 2.12 mpd for FCY spend.
The card also comes with some other perks, some of which are nice value propositions you may consider worth having:
- 12 annual Priority Pass lounge access, including guest visits
- Fourth night free when you book a consecutive four-night+ stay at any hotel or resort
- 32,000 miles on renewal when you pay the annual fee
- Two complimentary limo rides to or from Changi Airport per quarter, with a minimum spend of S$12,000 in the same quarter
Citi also rolls out frequent offers to Prestige customers, including the ability to buy cheap miles via Citi PayAll, plus a recent 4.5 mpd on FCY spend offer.

Citi TYP are very flexible
One of the best things about Citi ThankYou Points (and Citi Miles) in Singapore is the wide range of transfer partners compared with other bank loyalty points.
You can transfer your miles into 10 different frequent flyer programmes and into IHG points.
Singapore credit card transfer list
to FFP and hotel partners
As you can see from the table above, Citi gives you a wide range of flight redemption options including Oneworld and SkyTeam carriers.
The bank also maintains the same transfer ratio to these programmes as it does to KrisFlyer, unlike some others like HSBC and OCBC, which force you to take a haircut when converting to some FFPs.
Convertible loyalty points like Citi TYPs are therefore intrinsically more valuable to you, because the range of transfer options protects you against devaluation in a single programme, and opens up a wider variety of redemption options.

Summary
Citi has extended its reduced Prestige sign-up bonus – 45,000 miles with a steep S$14,000 minimum spend – through to 30th November 2026, on the same terms it launched in January.
To be eligible, you’ll need to apply by 30th November 2026.
The S$651.82 annual fee is payable, which makes this the equivalent of paying 1.45 cents per mile, even if you think the card has no value beyond the bonus miles themselves.
Existing Citi credit card holders who don’t have a Prestige card also remain eligible.
You might even qualify having cancelled your Citi Prestige card more than 12 months ago (for example, if you cancelled the card in June 2025 or earlier, you’re now eligible for the sign-up bonus again).
Do note, however, the card has recently seen some significant changes in perks, which give it questionable long-term value after you’ve pocketed the sign-up bonus, and this new minimum spend threshold is eye-watering.
