KrisShop offering up to 1,800 bonus KrisFlyer miles

You can earn almost 11 mpd on KrisShop purchases until 13th August, with up to 1,800 bonus KrisFlyer miles on offer.

KrisShop, Singapore Airlines’ “omnichannel” retailer, is marking its anniversary with an Unlock a World of Rewards promotion, which includes a tiered bonus KrisFlyer miles offer for purchases made on KrisShop.com or on KrisShop via the Kris+ app.

The bonus miles element runs for just 10 days, from 4th August 2026 to 13th August 2026, so there isn’t much time to plan your spend around it.

This bonus stacks with regular miles earning of up to 4 mpd for KrisShop purchases as a KrisShopper member, plus up to 4 mpd when you use the right credit card to pay, for a total optimal earning of almost 11 mpd if you hit the S$500 spend threshold exactly.

As always though, make sure you’re getting a good deal before committing – KrisShop isn’t always the cheapest place to source items.

Bonus KrisFlyer miles promotion

The bonus miles element of KrisShop’s anniversary promotion runs from 4th August 2026 (0000hrs SGT) to 13th August 2026 (2359hrs SGT), and is a simple two-tier structure: spend more, earn more bonus miles.

Here’s the earning structure:

  • Spend S$300+: Earn 800 bonus KrisFlyer miles
  • Spend S$500+: Earn 1,800 bonus KrisFlyer miles

The spend thresholds are calculated after all discounts have been applied, but exclude taxes, duties and shipping fees.

In effective terms, that’s a bonus of 2.7 mpd at the S$300 tier and 3.6 mpd at the S$500 tier, on top of whatever you’re already earning from KrisShop and your credit card.

The S$500 tier is clearly the better of the two, and it’s a stronger bonus rate than we’ve seen in either of KrisShop’s last two bonus miles promotions (2.3 mpd in February and 2.9 mpd in July).

Note that the tiers don’t stack with each other. A S$500 transaction earns you 1,800 bonus miles in total, not 800 + 1,800.

This is the important difference from KrisShop’s similar February 2026 promotion.

In February, you could accumulate purchases across multiple transactions during the promotion period to reach a spend threshold. This time you can’t. KrisShop’s terms award the bonus miles “per transaction”, which means each individual purchase has to reach S$300 or S$500 on its own.

Two S$250 purchases won’t get you anything. A single S$500 purchase gets you 1,800 miles.

The flip side is that the bonus appears to be repeatable. There’s no cap stated in the terms, and the per-transaction wording suggests each qualifying transaction earns its own bonus.

That being the case, the optimal approach is to structure your spend into whole S$500 transactions – so S$1,000 split into two S$500 purchases would earn 3,600 bonus miles, where a single S$1,000 purchase would earn only 1,800.

To benefit from this promotion, the following eligibility requirements apply:

  • You must have an active KrisFlyer account, and be logged into it when making purchases (KrisShopper membership is not required)
  • Valid for purchases made on KrisShop.com and the KrisShop portal within the Kris+ mobile app

Exclusions:

  • Purchases of KrisShop E-gift cards
  • Only valid for online platform purchases – not purchases made on board, KrisShop order forms or any other channel

Transactions where payment is made with a KrisShop e-gift card and/or eVouchers issued by KrisShop or Singapore Airlines will not count towards the minimum spend required for each transaction under this offer.

Standard three-day local delivery in Singapore is free for KrisShop purchases of S$75 or more, but remember GST is added at the check out stage, because KrisShop is a Duty Free store. GST and delivery charges are both excluded when KrisShop assesses whether you’ve hit the S$300 or S$500 threshold – so you’ll need S$500 of goods, not a S$500 final bill.

This promotion also doesn’t come with the extensive list of KrisShop brand exclusions we’ve seen in some past editions, which used to rule out the likes of Apple, Dyson, Samsung and Sony. That’s good news if you’re eyeing a bigger-ticket electronics purchase to hit the S$500 threshold.

One thing to be aware of before you commit is that products bought under this promotion can’t be returned, and only 1-for-1 product exchanges are permitted. KrisShop also reserves the right to claw back the bonus miles on any refunded or returned transaction.

Full terms and conditions for the KrisShop Unlock a World of Rewards promotion are available here.

As with February’s promotion, this offer requires cash (i.e. card) payment to qualify. The bonus miles are only awarded on the cash payment component of a transaction, so any part of a purchase paid for using vouchers, KrisFlyer miles or KrisPay miles won’t count towards the minimum spend thresholds, and won’t earn the usual KrisShop miles either.

That’s a limitation if you were hoping to burn through some expiring miles or vouchers while still qualifying for the bonus. You’ll need to pay the full amount in cash to be eligible.

The bonus miles promotion runs from 4th August 2026 (0000hrs SGT) to 13th August 2026 (2359hrs SGT).

Initially you’ll receive KrisFlyer miles at the regular or current promotional rate into your KrisFlyer account from KrisShop.com purchases (typically the next day), or immediately as KrisPay miles (which you can then transfer to KrisFlyer) if you buy on KrisShop via the Kris+ app.

Your bonus miles will be credited within 3 – 12 weeks after the promotion ends, which is between 3rd September 2026 and 5th November 2026.

Note that’s a slightly faster minimum turnaround than the 5 – 12 weeks KrisShop has quoted on its recent promotions.

The bonus miles accrual date will be backdated to August 2026 for the purposes of miles expiry, so the bonus miles element will expire on 31st August 2029, regardless of which month they land in your account.

Current KrisShop earn rates

Here’s a reminder of the current KrisFlyer miles earn rates you’ll pick up on KrisShop purchases, before any credit card miles earning is accounted for, when making purchases.

Purchase example

Since the bonus KrisFlyer miles under this deal are a fixed amount per tier, you’ll maximise the effective earning rate by making KrisShop purchases of exactly S$500 where possible.

Here’s an example of what you would earn for a transaction where the total is S$500 + GST, using a 4 mpd credit card like the DBS WWMC (review here) at both KrisShop directly and through Kris+ during this anniversary promotion, as an Ambassador status member in the KrisShopper loyalty programme.

  • 2,180 miles from DBS (S$545.00 x 4 mpd)
  • 750 regular miles from KrisShop (S$500.00 x 1.5 mpd)
  • 1,250 bonus miles for Ambassador status (S$500.00 x 2.5 mpd)
  • 1,800 bonus miles for the August promotion
  • 5,980 miles total (11.0 mpd)

That’s the best effective rates we’ve seen on a KrisShop bonus promotion this year, ahead of the 10.3 mpd available under July’s offer.

Push the transaction above S$500 and the effective rate starts falling away, since there’s no further tier to unlock. A S$700 transaction earns the same 1,800 bonus miles as a S$500 one.

Unusually, KrisShop’s terms explicitly allow the bonus miles promotion to be combined with two other offers running this month.

Anniversary Mega Deals run from 4th to 27th August, with discounts of up to 80% in Non-Traveller mode and up to 70% in Traveller mode on selected products. Since the bonus miles thresholds are assessed after discounts are applied, a heavily discounted basket will need more items to reach S$500, but there’s nothing stopping you claiming both.

More Miles For In-flight Delivery is quite a good one for big spenders. Running for the whole of August, it awards 8,000 bonus KrisFlyer miles for a S$2,500 spend on selected products taken as in-flight delivery on a Singapore Airlines or Scoot flight. Unlike the anniversary bonus, this one accepts any payment method, and KrisShop’s terms confirm explicitly that there’s no limit on how many times you can earn it.

Stack the two and a single S$2,500 in-flight delivery transaction would earn 8,000 miles from the in-flight promotion plus 1,800 from the anniversary promotion, 9,800 bonus miles in total, or a bonus rate of 3.9 mpd.

Two caveats on this one. In-flight delivery is only available on KrisShop.com, since purchases made through the Kris+ app can only be received by home delivery, so the stack doesn’t work via Kris+. And while the 8,000-mile offer accepts any payment method, the anniversary bonus still doesn’t, so pay the full amount in cash if you want to collect both.

This is also the one scenario where you shouldn’t split your spend into S$500 blocks. Five separate S$500 transactions would earn 9,000 bonus miles; a single S$2,500 transaction with in-flight delivery earns 9,800.

Which credit cards to use

KrisShop purchases made via the Kris+ app will code under MCC 5309: Duty Free Stores, and that means you can tap into some 4 mpd earn rates with a variety of credit cards, subject to their monthly requirements and spending caps.

Here’s an example of the cards which should give you upwards of 4 mpd for KrisShop.com transactions (KrisShop via Kris+ in-app payment transactions shown separately).

Note that the Citi Rewards card should not be used to make in-app payments on Kris+, since mobile wallet payments are specifically excluded from bonus miles earning, regardless of the merchant MCC.

However, using the Citi Rewards card directly at KrisShop.com will attract the card’s 4 mpd bonus rate.

Also note that the KrisFlyer Amex cards don’t earn their 2 mpd KrisShop bonus rate when making KrisShop purchases via the Kris+ app, so do stick to the desktop site with these cards.

KrisShop isn’t always the cheapest option

One important thing to consider is that KrisShop isn’t always the cheapest place to source items, with some heavy markups applied in some cases.

Make sure you shop around before committing, to ensure you’re either getting the cheapest deal anyway, or that the miles you are earning by using KrisShop instead of a cheaper alternative outweigh any additional cash cost.

Summary

KrisShop’s anniversary promotion offers up to 1,800 bonus KrisFlyer miles on a single transaction of S$500 or more, or 800 bonus miles at S$300, on purchases made at KrisShop.com or through the Kris+ app between now and 13th August 2026.

The S$500 tier is the one to target, with an effective bonus of 3.6 mpd. Combined with regular KrisShopper earning of up to 4 mpd and a 4 mpd credit card, that gets top-tier members to 11.0 mpd on an optimised S$500 purchase – the best rate on a KrisShop promotion we’ve seen this year.

The key thing to remember is that spend does not pool across transactions this time, unlike February’s promotion. Each purchase has to reach the threshold on its own, so structure your spend into whole S$500 transactions rather than one large basket.

The exception is if you’re buying for in-flight delivery, where a single S$2,500 transaction can pick up 9,800 bonus miles by stacking with KrisShop’s separate More Miles For In-flight Delivery offer.

As always with KrisShop promotions though, compare prices elsewhere before committing. The bonus miles are attractive, but only if you’re not paying significantly more than you would through another retailer.
