Back in April this year, SIA’s budget arm Scoot joined KrisFlyer’s monthly Spontaneous Escapes award redemption discount offer, and the deal for September 2026 is no exception with the low-cost carrier offering 15% off saver rates on selected routes across its network.

As with Singapore Airlines Spontaneous Escapes deal, you’ll need to secure your tickets within the next two weeks, though the sooner the better is a good plan, since award seats at these discounted rates are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Deals this month include Malacca, Langkawi or KL for just 1,275 miles, Yogyakarta for 3,825 miles, Nha Trang for 5,100 miles, Hong Kong for 5,525 miles, Tokyo, Okinawa or Seoul for 10,625 miles and Melbourne for 10,625 miles.

Always remember though that Scoot Economy fares can be very competitive, even for short-term travel, and taxes are still payable on award tickets, so make sure the discounted miles outlay actually represents good value (ideally 2 cents+ per mile saving) before committing.

If you do find a route of interest, you’ll need to book these ‘Scoot Promo’ awards over the next two weeks – between 14th August 2026 and 31st August 2026 – for travel in September 2026, but remember there’s no flexibility and no refunds are allowed, as usual with Scoot awards using KrisFlyer miles.

Scoot awards using KrisFlyer miles are always non-refundable year-round, so there is no loss of flexibility when booking a Spontaneous Escapes award on these flights for September 2026, since you always need to be committed to these ‘use them or lose them’ redemptions on the low-cost carrier anyway.

Another reminder though – Scoot fares can be quite competitive even for short-term bookings, so make sure the miles outlay is giving you good value before committing.

What if you already booked?

Existing Scoot bookings at normal award rates are non-refundable, so unfortunately you are now stuck with your full-priced award even if it is now included in the Spontaneous Escapes deal.

What about Singapore Airlines Spontaneous Escapes?

At the time of writing, Singapore Airlines hasn’t revealed its full list of Spontaneous Escapes deals for travel in September 2026 on the mainline carrier’s flights.
