Citi Prestige offering up to S$480 off Singapore Airlines flights

Citi Prestige cardholders eyeing a Singapore Airlines cash fare before the end of the year should have their booking details ready for 10am SGT tomorrow morning, with the card’s regular discount, last seen in July, returning on Tuesday 15th September.

Unfortunately this round of the deal comes with a couple of step-backs.

The ticket cap has dropped from five to four, and the outbound travel period only runs until 15th December 2026, a three-month window, against the ten months July’s offer allowed.

The per-ticket discounts themselves are unchanged, with S$120 off each Premium Economy, Business, First Class or Suites return ticket, and S$60 off each Economy return ticket. That works out at up to S$480 off a booking of four premium-cabin tickets, or up to S$240 off four Economy tickets.

Two separate promo codes apply, depending on the cabin you’re booking.

All destinations on the airline’s network to and from Singapore are included, but note that the travel period here applies to your outbound flight only.

As long as you depart Singapore by 15th December 2026, your return leg can fall outside the window, so a mid-December departure with a January return would still qualify.

Flights earn KrisFlyer miles as usual, and cancellation or refund terms follow the underlying fare conditions, just as they would on any other cash booking.

How to use it

Enter the appropriate promo code at the flight search stage on the Singapore Airlines website, via the ‘Apply promo code’ option before submitting your search:

• CITIPRESTIGE60 for Economy Class bookings
• CITIPRESTIGE for Premium Economy, Business, First Class and Suites bookings

The relatively obvious bit – payment must be made with your Citi Prestige Mastercard.

Important things to know

The fine print is largely as before, but with a couple of changes worth noting:

• Singapore departures only: The first boarding point of your itinerary must be Singapore, so flights originating elsewhere won’t qualify.
• Return flights only: One-way and open-jaw itineraries are excluded.
• Outbound travel by 15th December 2026: Only your outbound flight needs to fall inside the travel window, so a late-window departure with a return in the new year is still eligible.
• Up to four tickets per booking: Down from five in the July round, which is why the headline discount has dropped from S$600 to S$480 (S$120 × 4).
• SIA-operated flights only: Codeshare flights are not eligible.
• Nett fare discount: The discount comes off the base fare only, not taxes, fees or ancillaries like seat selection and excess baggage.
• Adult tickets only: Child fares are not eligible.
• Limited redemptions: The offer is first-come, first-served and runs while stocks last, so don’t leave it to the last day of the booking window. The promo code is also non-refundable, so if you cancel or rebook after applying it, you won’t get the code back for a subsequent use.

After four rounds of this promotion getting steadily more generous since March, September marks the first time it’s gone the other way.

The limited travel window is the major constraint this time round.

Three months is a huge step down from the ten months that July’s offer allowed, and it rules out any forward planning into 2027. If you were hoping to lock in next year’s Easter or June holidays at a discount, this isn’t the round for it.

The 15th December cut-off also looks, at a glance, like it excludes the year-end peak. In practice it’s less restrictive than it appears, since only the outbound leg has to fall inside the window – depart on 15th December and you can return whenever you like. That still misses immediate pre-Christmas departures, but it does capture the start of the school holidays.

The per-ticket maths is unchanged, and once again S$60 off a return Economy fare is proportionally a much bigger deal than S$120 off a J fare. On a regional return in the S$400 – S$600 range, that’s a 10 – 15% saving, and a family booking four tickets together is looking at S$240 off the total.

At the top end, four Premium Economy or Business Class tickets gets you up to S$480 off. Less than July’s S$600, but still decent money against SIA cash fares. First Class and Suites bookings get the same S$120-per-ticket treatment, though obviously the percentage saving against those fares is modest at best.

The usual caveats apply – the booking window is just a week, redemptions are limited and first-come-first-served, and the promo code is non-refundable if you cancel or rebook.

If you’ve got travel planned before mid-December, get online at 10am tomorrow to take advantage. If you’re planning further out, it may be worth waiting to see whether the next round of this deal restores the longer travel window.
