Singapore Airlines First Class and Suites cabins by route to March 2027

Singapore Airlines’ First Class is a far more exclusive club than its Business Class cabin. Only two seat types are currently in service, the 2013 First Class on the Boeing 777-300ER and the 2017 Suites on the Airbus A380, and this winter you’ll find them on flights to and from just 18 destinations on the network.

Which one you get comes down to the flight number, and on five routes (Auckland, London, Melbourne, Shanghai and Sydney) you can even choose between both products every day.

The airline has now confirmed its flight schedules for the northern winter season, from late October 2026 through to late March 2027, including aircraft type allocation. That means it’s time for our latest update on these First Class and Suites cabins, by route and by individual flight number.

It’s a mixed picture this year. Auckland gets Suites for the entire winter for the first time since 2018/19, while Melbourne and Shanghai keep their A380s all season too. On the other hand, Dubai loses First Class completely on its return to the route map, Frankfurt drops the superjumbo, and Jakarta misses out on its usual winter First Class boost.

There’s also an all-new First Class product on the horizon from 2027, though specific flights haven’t been confirmed yet, so every flight in this guide uses one of the two existing products.

Two First Class products

Here’s a summary of the two First Class products currently in use across the fleet.

That will change from mid- to late 2027, when an all-new First Class product debuts on refitted Airbus A350 ULR aircraft, followed by the long-delayed Boeing 777-9, around seven years later than originally planned.

Notable changes for winter 2026 / 27

Before we dive into the route and flight number tables for First Class and Suites products on the network, it’s worth pointing out that between now and the end of March 2027 Singapore Airlines is tweaking the distribution of these cabins, most notably as follows:

• Amsterdam keeps its Boeing 777-300ER on daily SQ324/323 flights throughout the northern winter season, so the return of First Class to the route from July 2026, as we reported last year, continues through to at least the end of March 2027.
• Auckland sees the Airbus A380 with 2017 Suites on daily SQ285/286 flights for the entire winter season from late October 2026, rather than just from mid-January as has been the pattern in recent years. This is the first full-season A380 operation on the route since NW18/19, as we covered in August. The superjumbo is joined by a Boeing 777-300ER on daily SQ281/282 flights, replacing the Airbus A350 Long Haul, which means Auckland has two daily First Class options all season.
• Dubai loses First Class for the winter season. The route has been suspended since late February 2026 due to the geopolitical situation in the Middle East, with the planned Airbus A380 upgauge shelved along the way. Daily flights are set to resume from 25th October 2026, but with the two-class Airbus A350 Medium Haul. A four-class Boeing 777-300ER, including the 2013 F cabin, is pencilled in to return only from late March 2027, for the summer season.
• Frankfurt loses the Airbus A380 from late October 2026, with SQ326/325 flights downgauging to the Boeing 777-300ER for the whole winter. The seasonal third rotation, SQ330/329, also returns, and operates on the 777-300ER with 2013 First Class three times weekly (Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays) from late October 2026 to mid-March 2027, with a break in the second half of January. That’s in addition to the daily SQ26/25 service, which continues to New York.
• Hong Kong reverts to a single daily First Class option from late October 2026, on SQ892/893, when the additional SQ894/895 Boeing 777-300ER service that doubled First Class capacity on the route from 1st September 2026 switches to the Airbus A350 Long Haul with the winter schedule change.
• Jakarta misses out on its usual winter boost in First Class capacity this season. In each of the last two northern winters, the route has jumped from two daily flights with First Class in the summer to four in the winter, with extra 777-300ER rotations such as SQ962/963 and SQ968/951 last season. This time, only SQ950/953 and SQ964/965 feature the 2013 First Class seats through to late March 2027, halving the number of daily options compared to last winter.
• London Heathrow keeps the Airbus A350 Long Haul on SQ306/305 throughout the winter, so there are only three daily First Class and Suites flights instead of the four seen last winter. Two are Airbus A380 services with 2017 Suites (SQ308/319 and SQ322/317), and one is a Boeing 777-300ER with 2013 First Class (SQ318/321).
• Melbourne keeps the Airbus A380 on daily SQ237/228 flights throughout the winter season, with 2017 Suites in place of the Boeing 777-300ER’s 2013 First Class seats that operated on these flights last winter. The superjumbo returned to the route at short notice in March 2026, using the aircraft originally earmarked for Dubai, and is now a year-round fixture for the first time since 2019.
• Shanghai retains the Airbus A380 on SQ830/833 for the entire winter season, alongside the Boeing 777-300ER on SQ828/831. Last winter the A380 only featured from February to late March, so 2017 Suites are available daily on this route for the full five months this time around.

First Class lounges

Flying First Class or Suites from Changi gives you access to three lounges across Terminals 2 and 3, regardless of which terminal your flight departs from.

The pick of the bunch is The Private Room in Terminal 3, the airline’s most exclusive ground experience, alongside the SilverKris First Class Lounge in the same terminal.

Terminal 2 also has a new First Class SilverKris lounge, including a redesigned signature cocktail bar.

Even so, many First Class passengers departing from T2, such as those on Jakarta flights, choose to make the five-minute Skytrain journey over to Terminal 3 to experience The Private Room before their flight.

Our First Class and Suites reviews
