Kris+ is offering a boosted miles earning rate of 8 mpd at over 65 of its merchants during the whole month of October 2026, which of course means a total accrual of up to 12 mpd when you spend with a 4 mpd credit card at these partners, often stackable with other benefits like discounts and advance voucher purchases in some cases.
Here’s how the deal works, and which of the programme’s dining and retail merchants are participating this time round.
Kris+ Birthday Bash
To celebrate the 6th birthday of Kris+ this month, earn transactions made at over 65 merchants across Singapore between 1st October 2026 and 31st October 2026 will accrue an upsized rate of 8 mpd in total, instantly awarded instead of the usual accrual rates when you make a purchase using the app.

The merchants with the lowest year-round earn rates of 2 mpd are having their accrual hiked by a total of 6 mpd to the 8 mpd level during this promotion, while those usually earning 7 mpd are hiked by only 1 mpd – still better than nothing!
The bonus earn rate already reflects in the Kris+ app for these merchants when you make your purchase.
Don’t forget that three Kris+ merchants continue to earn 9 mpd year-round, which actually beats this promotion:

Less generous than previous years
This is the second year running that the Birthday Bash bonus rate has been trimmed by 1 mpd, from 10 mpd in 2024 and 9 mpd in 2025, though on the plus side the list of participating partners is the longest yet.

The lower headline rate isn’t the whole story, since regular Kris+ earn rates have also been falling over the same period. For example, Krispy Kreme and 108 Matcha Saro both earned 6 mpd year-round in 2024, when this promotion took them to 10 mpd.
Today they earn just 3 mpd year-round, so this year’s bonus is actually a bigger uplift (+5 mpd vs. +4 mpd), even if you end up with fewer miles overall for your regular spend at these merchants.
Voucher purchases count
In-app purchases are also eligible during this promotion. For example, you can purchase a voucher from an eligible merchant during the promotion period to be redeemed in-store or at the restaurant later, and earn 8 mpd when you purchase it in October 2026, despite redeeming at a later date (just don’t forget to actually use the voucher later!).
In this example you can earn 8 mpd when purchasing this S$100 voucher for CouCou for S$90 (90 x 8 = 720 miles before credit card points), be awarded the miles instantly, then actually redeem the voucher within three months of purchase, giving you until at least the end of 2026 to actually do so.
Which card to use for Kris+ purchases
Many bonus credit cards in Singapore earn at their top rate for Kris+ transactions, either for all spend or for purchases in selected Merchant Category Codes (MCCs).
For some cards it’s a little complicated, because the payment you make in-app will tag under the merchant’s MCC, so you’ll need to be confident it qualifies prior to your purchase, but there are some cards that earn at their top rate for all Kris+ spend too.
Here’s how some of these cards earn for Kris+ payments, within their monthly spend caps. You can check the MCC with the merchant in advance of your payment if necessary, though some are obvious (like restaurants – 5812).

UOB Lady’s SolitaireDon’t use your Citi Rewards card to make payment with Apple Pay or Google Pay on Kris+, since online transactions these cards specifically exclude mobile wallet payments, and will therefore earn at the basic rate of 0.4 mpd.
Transfer straight to KrisFlyer miles
As always, you should transfer KrisPay miles earned from these transactions immediately to your KrisFlyer account.
You only have 21 days to do so before the miles are stuck in KrisPay, with a poor 1 cent rebate value each against future purchases, and an expiry date just six months later.
Our advice is to just do the transfer there and then, by pressing the Transfer to KrisFlyer button, in case you forget or partially use the earned miles by mistake before transferring, which also locks all of them into KrisPay miles permanently.
However, there’s now the option to auto-transfer accrued KrisPay miles to your KrisFlyer account without having to go through these additional clicks.
You can do so via the Wallet > Transfer to KrisFlyer page. Simply enable the ‘Auto-transfer to KrisFlyer’ button as shown above, and the process will be automated whenever you accrue KrisPay miles at a merchant.
Over 600 year-round Kris+ earning options
If you’re not using Kris+ to earn additional miles for dining, retail, wellness or other goods and services in Singapore, then you’re potentially missing out on thousands of additional KrisFlyer miles each year.
