EXPIRED This article relates to an offer or promotion which has now expired.
Only a couple of weeks ago we highlighted a deal for OCBC credit card or account holders who are also StarHub customers, where you could indirectly earn 3,500 KrisFlyer miles by setting up a recurring StarHub bill payment from an OCBC card or account.
That offer continues until the end of this month, however a new offer is available this time for StarHub customers who don’t currently hold an OCBC credit card and it’s good for 10,500 KrisFlyer miles.
The offer
You must be a StarHub customer with no existing OCBC credit card at the point of application, having also not terminated any OCBC credit card in the last 6 months.
If you’re a supplementary cardholder on an OCBC credit card that’s ok, you will be eligible provided you are not the principal cardholder.
On successful application between now and 30th September 2018 you will be entitled to receive a choice of:
- S$100 cash credit.
- A pair of Google Home Mini Speakers (worth around S$100).
- 7,500 StarHub Rewards points (which provided it’s the OCBC Titanium Rewards card you apply for you can then transfer into 26,250 OCBC$, which in turn convert into 10,500 KrisFlyer miles, worth around S$210).
Your card account must be approved by 31st October 2018 to be eligible.
No prizes for guessing what we are recommending here – (indirectly) earning 10,500 KrisFlyer miles is by far the most valuable option. This depends on you applying for the OCBC Titanium Rewards card, as you’ll have to transfer your bonus StarHub Rewards points into OCBC$ then later transfer your OCBC$ into KrisFlyer.
Bear in mind that when you transfer from OCBC$ to KrisFlyer miles this must be done in blocks of 25,000 (each of which convert to 10,000 KrisFlyer miles), and there is a charge of S$25 for each transfer. We would recommend transferring in larger blocks to ‘dilute’ the processing fee.
Simply apply through this page (assuming you want the 7,500 StarHub Rewards points option, for the S$100 cash credit it’s this link and for the Google speakers it’s this one).
If you’re not interested in KrisFlyer miles, or you intend to apply for one of OCBC’s other credit cards (i.e. not the Titanium Rewards) we’d still recommend going for the StarHub Rewards points option as 7,500 points is good for around S$107 in future bill rebates, slightly better than the other two gift options.
Note that the OCBC Voyage card is not included in this offer.

Application can be via the links above or over the phone with an OCBC Telesales Executive, or via an application form provided by an OCBC Sales Executive at selected StarHub outlets, OCBC Bank Branches, OCBC Bank Credit Card Roadshows and Plus! Lite Branches.
