If you’re a UOB PRVI Miles cardholder and you ever use Klook to purchase activity or attraction tickets, you may be interested in a new deal offering 3 miles per S$1 spent right through to the end of February next year, using your card on the company’s website or app payment gateways in Singapore.
What is Klook?
Klook lets you book discounted activities and attractions in a range of destinations when you travel, either through their website or mobile app.
For example in Singapore you’ll find things like Gardens by the Bay and Sentosa Cable Car tickets, which you can book online in advance.
From 1st August 2019 to 29th February 2020 (both dates inclusive), UOB PRVI Miles cardholders will earn UNI$7.5 for every S$5 spent on all local Klook transactions made via Klook’s website and/or App payment gateway in Singapore, which is equivalent to 3 miles for every S$1 spent.
Transactions must charge to your card with description “Klook*” to be eligible.
The rate of UNI$7.5 for every S$5 spent on Singapore Klook transactions comprises:
- the regular earn rate of UNI$3.5 for every S$5 spent locally; and
- the promotion earn rate of UNI$4 for every S$5 spent on Klook
The maximum amount of bonus UNI$ that may be awarded to each principal cardholder for Singapore Klook transactions during the promotion period is capped at UNI$800 (equivalent to 1,600 miles). Thereafter, only the regular earn rate of UNI$3.5 will apply for these purchases.
That means the bonus rate is only applicable for the first S$1,000 of spending on Klook, giving you a maximum of 3,000 miles (1,600 of which are bonus miles).
The small print: Transactions exclude refunded, disputed, unauthorised or fraudulent transactions and UOB reserves the right to revoke, deduct and/or re-compute any UNI$ in the event that cardmembers cancel, reverse and/or revise transactions.
Provided you use Klook’s Singapore payment gateway, you can purchase their products anywhere in the world in Singapore dollars with your UOB PRVI Miles card and be eligible for this promotional 3 miles per dollar rate.
In other PRVI Miles news earlier this week, the bank is offering a slightly discounted 2% fee for their PRVI Pay facility during August and September 2019.
