Three weeks ago Standard Chartered offered a 100% bonus on transfers to Emirates Skywards miles from its Rewards Points, and this week the bank has its second such bonus offer – for transfer to ALL (Accor Live Limitless) points.
This is the first time the bank has offered a bonus promotion for transfers to a hotel loyalty programme. As you can see from our credit card transfer partners page here, Standard Chartered points can be converted into IHG Rewards Club and ALL points, in addition to a range of frequent flyer programmes.
The deal
From 16th March 2020 to 29th March 2020, any transfers made from your Standard Chartered Rewards Points into the Accor scheme will get you twice as many points compared to usual, with the 5:1 transfer ratio switching to the more common 2.5:1 we see with the better airline programmes like KrisFlyer.
Standard Chartered rewards points transfer into KrisFlyer miles at a 2.5:1 ratio.
The offer is advertised for X Card holders, but that’s simply not true. Any Standard Chartered card awarding 360 Rewards Points, including the SCVI card, has points between them pooled for redemptions across any of the multiple partner loyalty programmes.
That means you can also convert your SCVI points to ALL at the 3,500:1,400 (5:1) ratio if you wish.
Accor Live Limitless
Unlike many hotel loyalty programmes, Accor’s ALL points work on a simple ‘cashback’ basis with a fixed value of approximately 3 Singapore cents per point.
