KrisFlyer Experiences is back with another of its chartered Singapore Airlines flights, for an exclusive trip between Singapore and Okinawa in early June 2024, for redemption using your KrisFlyer miles, including a three-night stay in either the Loisir Hotel Naha resort or the Hyatt Regency hotel.
This follows KrisFlyer’s chartered ‘cruise to nowhere’ back in November 2021 and its Langkawi chartered flight in November 2022, exclusively operating for miles redemption purposes.
This time round it’s Japan’s subtropical island of Okinawa that’s part of the deal, in a trip including airport transfers and accommodation.
SilkAir operated charters to and from Okinawa in 2015 and 2016, but since November 2017 the route has been served solely by Qantas Group low-cost carrier Jetstar, with up to five times weekly flights operating prior to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Jetstar restarted its Okinawa service three times per week in November last year, but the SIA Group has not operated any new flights there for eight years – until now – so this Singapore Airlines charter is something special.
Here are the details of the special charter flight laid on for this trip.

Other details
Whichever hotel you choose, members who redeem packages bundled with a seat in Economy Class are entitled to 30kg of baggage allowance, while those who redeem packages bundled with a seat in Business Class are entitled to 40kg of baggage allowance.
There appears to be no status-related baggage increments applicable for these charter flights, but for a four-night stay that’s probably not a major issue!
Seating arrangements onboard the Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft will be assigned on a first-come, first-served and best-effort basis.

It’s not currently known which terminal at Changi this charter flight will be departing from, so it may be either the T2 or T3 lounges you’ll be directed to, but in any event you can use either, provided you’re willing to build in time to take the SkyTrain to the departure gate when boarding time comes around.
In all cases, if you have guest eligibility your guest must be departing on the same day and same flight as you, as part of a policy tightened in 2022.
No lounge access is provided at Okinawa Airport.
Summary
KrisFlyer Experiences is chartering another dedicated Singapore Airlines aircraft in June, for a flight to and from Okinawa in Japan including a four-night hotel stay, for those redeeming their miles for the trip.
Packages are very steep at 210,000 to 455,000 miles for a couple, which is extremely high given that you can take a cheap Jetstar flight to and from Okinawa on a much wider range of dates, and simply book your own hotel!
Nonetheless, this may attract some vying for the “exclusive” nature of the charter flight itself.
Do check the KrisFlyer Experiences page for more details of this deal including full terms and conditions and availability, if you’re interested in joining this exclusive trip.
We’ll update this article with details of any additional packages loaded, if they become available.
