For the fifth year in a row, Singapore Airlines will be offering KrisFlyer Experiences Sky Suite packages for the Singapore Formula 1 Grand Prix weekend, and the miles pricing for the 2026 night race has now been revealed.
There’s more reason than usual to take note this year.
The 9th to 11th October 2026 event marks Singapore’s first-ever F1 Sprint weekend, adding competitive track sessions on both the Friday and Saturday that simply weren’t there before, and that appears to be behind a steeper-than-usual jump in the miles required for those two days in particular.
One thing to bear in mind before you get too excited, though – the packages aren’t open for booking just yet.
Unlike last year, Singapore Airlines hasn’t announced a specific launch date and time, so for now this is very much one to note for later, rather than rush to redeem. We speculate on when booking might open later in this article.
You can already preview the packages on the KrisFlyer Experiences site, even though you won’t be able to redeem just yet:

F1 Sky Suites KrisFlyer Redemption
While redemptions started at 100,000 miles back in 2022, a Friday ticket alone will now set you back at least 165,000 KrisFlyer miles per person in 2026, a 15,000-mile increase on last year, and a bigger jump than the 10,000-mile annual increments we’ve grown used to.
A first for Singapore: the Sprint weekend
The headline change for 2026 isn’t just the pricing, it’s also the format. For the first time since the Singapore Grand Prix joined the calendar in 2008, Marina Bay hosts an F1 Sprint weekend, and that reshapes what each day’s Sky Suite package actually delivers in terms of on-track action:
- Friday 9th October: First Practice, followed by Singapore’s first-ever Sprint Qualifying session.
The traditional Friday practice-only running is replaced by a competitive session that sets the starting grid for the Sprint Race. - Saturday 10th October: the new Sprint Race, followed by Grand Prix qualifying.
Saturday now carries two competitive sessions, where previously it was final practice plus qualifying. - Sunday 11th October: the Grand Prix itself, as ever.
The Friday and Saturday packages therefore now include fresh on-track action that wasn’t on offer in previous years, and that’s borne out clearly in the pricing.
The two days gaining content have seen a marked increase – Friday and Saturday are both up 10%, to 165,000 and 220,000 miles respectively.
Sunday, whose on-track programme is unchanged, has barely moved – up just 5,000 miles to 315,000, having sat at 310,000 for the previous two years.
In other words, you’re paying this year’s premium for the new Sprint sessions on Friday and Saturday, but not for race day itself.

Once booking opens you should be able to make redemptions for up to four attendees at a time in a single booking, and / or for different days, subject to availability, but remember all experiences are non-refundable once redeemed.
Five years of Sky Suite pricing
It’s worth putting this year’s rises in context. Here’s how the KrisFlyer miles pricing for each Sky Suite package has moved since the deal first launched in 2022.
| KrisFlyer Experiences F1 Sky Suite award pricing |
||||||
| Day | 2022 | 2023 | 2024 | 2025 | 2026 | Since 2022 |
| Fri | 100k | 130k | 140k | 150k | 165k | 65% |
| Sat | 150k | 180k | 190k | 200k | 220k | 47% |
| Sun | 300k | 300k | 310k | 310k | 315k | 5% |
A Friday ticket has climbed 65% since 2022, from 100,000 to 165,000 miles, and Saturday is up by close to 50%.
Race day Sunday, by contrast, has risen just 5% across the same five years, from 300,000 to 315,000 miles, and was even held at exactly 300,000 for the first two years.
It’s the Friday and Saturday packages that have always done the heavy lifting on price rises, and this year’s Sprint format has only accelerated that.
The cash Sky Suite packages for 2026 have already sold out, so redeeming KrisFlyer miles looks set to be one of the few remaining routes into the Pit Straight Sky Suite this year. Before they sold out the 3-day package was priced at S$10,124, with the individual days sold at approximately:
- Practice & Sprint Qualifying (Fri): ~S$2,300
- Sprint Race & Qualifying (Sat): ~S$4,000
- Race (Sun): ~S$5,600
- All 3 days (Fri-Sun): S$10,124
On those figures you’re looking at up to around 1.8 cents per mile in value, if you put face value on the packages:
- Practice: ~1.39 cents per mile
- Qualifying: ~1.82 cents per mile
- Race: ~1.78 cents per mile
The value picture is much the same as last year, with one twist.
Friday and Saturday saw both their cash and miles prices rise together, so they land fractionally below their 2025 returns of 1.43 and 1.85 cents. Sunday, however, has quietly become the better redemption: its miles price barely rose while the cash value climbed, lifting it from 1.67 cents in 2025 to around 1.78 cents this year.

Away from the Sky Suite itself, the 2026 entertainment line-up is one of the strongest yet – headlined by Janet Jackson, performing in Singapore for the first time in 15 years, alongside the Goo Goo Dolls, Mark Ronson, DJ Snake, Major Lazer Soundsystem and Split Enz.
Regional and home-grown draws include JJ Lin, CORTIS, Zara Larsson and James Arthur, while a new waterfront Barge Stage in Zone 1 adds even more acts across the weekend.
Full details for the entertainment side this year are available here.
UOB KrisFlyer cardholder discount
For the last few years, KrisFlyer UOB debit and credit card holders have been able to claim a 10% discount on the miles required, and given how consistently it’s featured, we think it’s likely to return for 2026. That said, nothing has been confirmed at this stage, and there’s no dedicated UOB redemption page live yet.
If the offer does come back in its usual form, the discount once again won’t be instant – it would be credited to your KrisFlyer account some months later – and it’s typically heavily limited:
- Per person: Only one discounted ticket in total (even if you have multiple UOB cards)
- Per day: Only the first six people get the discount for each day (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
- Act fast: Once six people book each day of the event, no more discounts are available

Cardholders would typically book through a separate KrisFlyer UOB redemption page, which hasn’t appeared yet, and would need to have linked their KrisFlyer membership to their card in advance. We’ll add the link and confirm the exact terms, including any linking deadline, if and when the offer goes live.
When can you book?
At the time of writing, Singapore Airlines has revealed the 2026 pricing but has not yet opened redemptions for booking, and unlike last year, no specific launch date and time has been announced.
If recent years are any guide, though, booking should open in late July or early August 2026. The last three editions went live on 26th July (2023), 29th July (2024) and 1st August (2025), each a few days later than the year before.
We’ll provide an update as soon as redemptions open, so do keep an eye out. Remember these packages, and especially the Saturday and Sunday slots, have a habit of selling out quickly once booking begins.
Summary
KrisFlyer Experiences is once again going to offer Sky Suite packages for miles at the upcoming Singapore F1 in October 2026, the fifth consecutive year of the deal, and the first to coincide with a Singapore Sprint weekend.
That Sprint format is clearly affecting this year’s pricing, with the added Friday and Saturday track sessions pushing up miles rates for those two days by 10%, to 165,000 and 220,000 miles, while race-day Sunday – unchanged on track – has crept up just 5,000 miles to 315,000.
Even with the increases, the packages still represent reasonable value for these experiences, at up to around 1.8 cents per mile, even if your miles aren’t expiring.
Booking isn’t open yet, and no launch date has been announced, but based on recent years we’d expect redemptions to go live later this month, or in early August.
We’ll provide an update the moment they do, and given how consistently it’s featured, a 10% miles discount for the first few KrisFlyer UOB credit card holders is likely to return too, which would make these packages even better value for a lucky few.
