Kris+ offering 10 mpd at all 300+ earning partners in Australia

Earlier this month we wrote about the return of the Kris+ Birthday Bash in Singapore, with 8 mpd on offer at around 70 merchants across the Lion City for the whole of October 2026, though that’s lower than the 9 mpd that was on offer in 2025 and 10 mpd the previous year.

With credit card points in the mix as well, that means up to 12 mpd total earning at these outlets – a good deal if there’s spend you will be making anyway or if any of these merchants pique your interest for the first time.

Well if you’re based in Sydney or Melbourne, or you’re visiting these cities before 31st October 2026, there’s an even better offer in place ‘down under’, with the app offering 10 mpd at every single one of its 300+ earn merchants in these cities, before credit card points are even accounted for.

Kris+ 10 mpd in Australia

When Kris+ initially expanded miles earning to Australia there were only 44 participating merchants in Sydney and Melbourne, but that total has now expanded rapidly, with 319 merchants now on the list across both cities, up from 202 this time last year.

The app is currently offering 10 mpd at all 319 of these merchants in both Sydney and Melbourne between now and 31st October 2026.

Earning is uncapped, and these miles are awarded instantly in place of the usual 3 mpd to 9 mpd accrual rates at all outlets when you make a purchase using the app.

It’s worth noting that Kris+ has significantly lifted its year-round Australian earn rates since last year’s promotion, so for just over half the merchants on the list (166 of them) this offer is a modest bump from 9 mpd. The real winners are the 56 outlets that normally earn only 3 mpd.

There’s better news still for those travelling to Australia, since 10 mpd is offered for Australian Dollar spend in these cities, you’re actually getting over 11 mpd in Singapore Dollar terms, since 1 AUD is costing you only 0.89 Singapore cents at current exchange rates.

Participating merchants: Sydney

There are now a total of 163 bars, cafes, restaurants, retail outlets and wellness providers on the Kris+ earn programme city-wide across Sydney, all of which are participating in this promotion between now and 31st October 2026.

Here’s the full list of merchants, with earn rates hiked to 10 mpd, from their year-round rates of 3 mpd, 6 mpd or 9 mpd.

Additional discounts

Kris+ is also offering additional discounts at several of these merchant partners during this promotion.

These include discounted cash vouchers that you can purchase via the app in advance of your visit to offset the bill, with 10 mpd earning when you buy the voucher itself (check the redemption deadline).

In this example you can get 9% off a voucher for AU$220 off the bill at KATA KITA in Melbourne, earning 10 mpd for the AU$200.00 payment (2,000 miles), then redeem the voucher right through till at least April 2027 (within six months of purchase in this case, though that varies by merchant).

If your bill comes to more than the voucher value, just pay the balance via the Kris+ app and earn even more miles.

For a full list of deals, check your Kris+ app (be sure to switch to the Australia site).

Which card to use

Kris+ earn partners in Australia accept in-app payment via Apple Pay or Google Pay using Visa or Mastercard (but not American Express cards, which are only accepted via Kris+ in Singapore).

As you probably already know, with Kris+ you’ll earn KrisPay miles for your transaction (which you then can and should convert into KrisFlyer miles), on top of the usual points you’ll get when using your best credit card to make in-app payment.

Australian credit cards have rather lacklustre earn rates, but if you’re visiting Sydney or Melbourne here’s a list of Singapore-issued cards that should give you the best earn rate for Kris+ transactions at these merchants during the promotion (Australia Kris+ spend codes as Online and FCY).

The following cards will earn at their bonus rate of between 3 mpd and 4 mpd for all Kris+ spend in Australia, though some are subject to minimum spend and/or have upper spend caps.

SCVI (see our review)	3 mpd	On all FCY spend, with no cap, subject to S$2,000+ total card spend (any currency) in the same statement month.

The following cards are a little more complicated, because they require your spend to be under specific Merchant Category Codes (MCCs), like dining, in order to earn their bonus rate.

Don’t use your Citi Rewards card to make payment with Apple Pay or Google Pay on Kris+, since online transactions using this card specifically exclude mobile wallet payments and will therefore earn at the basic rate of 0.4 mpd.

Don’t forget to transfer straight to KrisFlyer miles

KrisPay miles earned through Kris+ can only be transferred to your KrisFlyer account within 21 days of the transaction. To do so, simply tap on the “Transfer to KrisFlyer” button which will appear on the miles earned confirmation screen or transaction details screen.

You can do so later (within 21 days), but why wait?

Remember that KrisPay miles earned per transaction can only be transferred to your account in their entirety. If you earned 100 KrisPay miles from a single Kris+ transaction, for example, the full 100 KrisPay miles must be transferred to your KrisFlyer account. If you have already spent some of your KrisPay miles earned, a partial transfer option is not available.

We therefore recommend transferring to KrisFlyer immediately following any Kris+ earning transaction, in case you either forget or make a mistake later.

However, there’s now the option to auto-transfer accrued KrisPay miles to your KrisFlyer account without having to go through these additional clicks.

You can do so via the Wallet > Transfer to KrisFlyer page. Simply enable the ‘Auto-transfer to KrisFlyer’ button as shown above, and the process will be automated whenever you accrue KrisPay miles at a merchant.

Kris+ is really pushing its earning programme in Australia, with over 300 merchants now on board, and this offer to net an instant uncapped 10 mpd at all of them is a great opportunity if you’re based in Sydney or Melbourne, or are simply visiting before 31st October 2026.

With current exchange rates, our Singapore readers on a trip to these cities are actually scoring over 11 mpd before credit card points accrual, since the 10 mpd is based on Australian Dollar spend.

11 mpd from this promotion comes in addition to the points you’ll earn on your credit card, for a total haul of up to 15 mpd at the top level, but even with a decent general spend card offering 2 mpd on FCY transactions, you can still net a respectable 13 mpd during this offer.

That’s a better deal than this month’s Birthday Bash back home, where 8 mpd is limited to around 70 partners, for a maximum of 12 mpd including credit card miles.
