SIA’s budget airline Scoot is back with its monthly KrisFlyer Spontaneous Escapes award redemption discount offer, with the deal for November 2026 offering the usual 15% off saver redemption rates on selected routes across the low cost carrier’s network.
As with Singapore Airlines Spontaneous Escapes deal, you’ll need to secure your tickets within the next two weeks, though the sooner the better is a good plan, since award seats at these discounted rates are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Deals worth considering this month include Malacca, Penang or KL for just 1,275 miles, Bali or Da Nang for 3,825 miles, Taipei or Perth for 5,525 miles, Melbourne for 10,625 miles and Athens or Vienna for 20,400 miles.

This month’s offer is noticeably thinner than October’s, with 59 routes down from 82. Hong Kong, Macau, India and the Philippines are all absent, and Thailand drops from ten routes to just Koh Samui in both directions. China is also pared back from around 30 routes to 16.
Always remember too that Scoot Economy fares can be very competitive, even for short-term travel, and taxes are still payable on award tickets, so a discounted rate doesn’t automatically represent good value. We have a calculator further down the page to help you work that out, before committing.
If you do find a route of interest, you’ll need to book these ‘Scoot Promo’ awards over the next two weeks – between 15th October 2026 and 31st October 2026 – for travel in November 2026, but remember there’s no flexibility and no refunds are allowed, as usual with Scoot awards using KrisFlyer miles.

Scoot awards using KrisFlyer miles are always non-refundable year-round, so there is no loss of flexibility when booking a Spontaneous Escapes award on these flights for November 2026, since you always need to be committed to these ‘use them or lose them’ redemptions on the low-cost carrier anyway.
Is it worth it?
Scoot cash fares are often very competitive, even at short notice, and you still pay taxes and fees on an award ticket, so a discounted rate isn’t automatically a good deal.
The sum is simple enough. Take the cash fare, subtract the taxes and fees you’d pay on the award anyway, and divide what’s left by the number of miles needed. That tells you what each mile is actually earning you.
Rather than doing the sums yourself, pop the figures into our calculator below for a quick answer.
Is it worth it?
The value of your miles on a Scoot Spontaneous Escapes award
Selecting a promo award on flyscoot.com brings up a quote as miles plus cash, for example 1,500 miles + S$65.20, and that cash figure is the taxes and fees. Both that and the cash fare assume a Basic fare, so compare like with like if you need bags or a seat.
Tool by mainlymiles.com
As a rough guide, anything under 1 cent per mile is worse than simply cashing your miles out through Kris+ or KrisShop, so it isn’t worth doing even if your miles are about to expire.
Between 1 cent and 1.5 cents you’re in territory KrisFlyer cash-out promotions will sometimes match.
Above 1.5 cents you’re doing better than you can usually cash out for, and at 2 cents and above it’s a redemption worth making.
Bear in mind Singapore Airlines redemptions, particularly in the premium cabins and particularly at Spontaneous Escapes rates, will usually value your miles more highly than a Scoot Economy seat will – so if you’re sitting on a decent non-expiring balance and have no fixed plans, that’s almost always the better use for them.
What if you already booked?
Existing Scoot bookings at normal award rates are non-refundable, so unfortunately you are now stuck with your full-priced award even if it is now included in the Spontaneous Escapes deal.

Summary
Discounted awards on Scoot are now a regular part of the monthly KrisFlyer Spontaneous Escapes deal, and November 2026 is no exception with 15% off flights to and from specific destinations on the low-cost carrier’s extensive network.
This brings flight award pricing down to as little as 1,275 miles one-way for the shortest hops to and from the likes of Malacca, Penang and KL, 3,825 miles for Bali or Da Nang, 10,625 miles for Singapore – Melbourne or 20,400 miles for Singapore – Athens and Singapore – Vienna.
Before you book, enter the miles rate, the taxes and the cash fare into our value calculator above – anything from 2 cents per mile is a good use of your KrisFlyer balance on Scoot, and under 1 cent you’re better off cashing out through Kris+ or KrisShop instead.
Check out this month’s list for any deals of interest, but remember as always Scoot awards are non-refundable and non-changeable, so be sure your travel plans are firm before committing.
