American Express has a new bonus miles earning offer for its KrisFlyer co-brand cardholders between now and the end of November 2023, offering an additional 2 miles per dollar on top of your card’s usual earn rate when you make payments at over 430 merchants across Singapore via the Kris+ app.
The deal is limited to the first 10,000 successful enrolments, so it’s worth saving this offer to your card now if you wish to take advantage.

The promotion runs from 1st November 2023 to 30th November 2023.
Bonus KrisFlyer miles for Kris+ transactions
Simply find the offer on the Amex mobile app and save it to your card, then spend in-app at Kris+ merchants using your Amex Singapore Airlines co-brand card.
The card will have to be saved in your mobile wallet to be used on Kris+ (this is now the only way to pay and therefore earn miles through the Kris+ app anyway).
Here are the revised earn rates applicable for Kris+ spend during the promotion.

Sadly the deal is capped at only 800 bonus KrisFlyer miles per card, which is equivalent to just S$400 cumulative Kris+ spend during the promotion period.

Bonus miles will credit directly to your KrisFlyer account, usually within 15 working days from the transaction, however it can take up to 90 days from the end of the promotion period in some cases (i.e. until 28th February 2024).

Kris+ up to 9 mpd earning
This offer stacks with regular Kris+ earn rates of up to 9 mpd at over 430 island-wide merchants through the app itself, on top of the 3.1 to 3.3 mpd you’ll pick up through your co-brand card as part of this Amex deal.
That means a total earn rate of up to 12.3 mpd at selected merchants.
Here’s the latest list of all Kris+ merchants and their respective regular earn rates, before credit card points and miles are accounted for.
Don’t forget – transfer straight to KrisFlyer miles
While your 3.1 to 3.3 mpd earning though this Amex promotion will credit directly to your KrisFlyer account, as mentioned above you’ll also earn KrisPay miles through the Kris+ app (up to 9 mpd) for your purchase too.
These KrisPay miles can only be transferred to your KrisFlyer account within 7 days of the transaction. To do so, simply tap on the “Transfer to KrisFlyer” button which will appear on the miles earned confirmation screen or transaction details screen.

You can do so later (within 7 days), but why wait?
Remember that KrisPay miles earned per transaction can only be transferred to your account in their entirety. If you earned 100 KrisPay miles from a single Kris+ transaction, for example, the full 100 KrisPay miles must be transferred to your KrisFlyer account. If you have already spent some of your KrisPay miles earned, a partial transfer option is not available.
We therefore recommend transferring to KrisFlyer immediately following any Kris+ earning transaction, in case you either forget or make a mistake later.
Better earning rates for Kris+
Many bonus 4 mpd / 6 mpd cards on the market in Singapore earn at their top rate for Kris+ transactions, either for all spend or for purchases in selected Merchant Category Codes (MCCs).
For some cards that’s a little complicated, because the payment you make in-app with those cards will tag under the merchant’s MCC, so you’ll need to be confident it qualifies prior to your purchase, unlike with this Amex deal where all Kris+ transactions will be bonus-eligible for those who successfully register.
Here’s how some of these cards earn for Kris+ payments, within their monthly spend caps. You can check the MCC with the merchant in advance of your payment if you are unsure, though some are obvious (like restaurants – 5812).

3 mpd | On all Kris+ spend, with no minimum and no upper cap. |
Don’t use your Citi Rewards card to make payment with Apple Pay or Google Pay on Kris+, since online transactions these cards specifically exclude mobile wallet payments and will therefore earn at the basic rate of 0.4 mpd.
In many cases you’ll want to ensure you’re exhausting your 4 mpd options for eligible Kris+ spend before using this Amex offer.
The Amex deal could be quite useful though, for example if you use up your bonus caps on these cards already, or you don’t hold any of the cards listed above, or you don’t want to worry about whether the MCC qualifies or not.
Summary
Not the most generous spend cap at only S$400 with this Amex / Kris+ offer, but that should still mean a relatively easy 800 bonus KrisFlyer miles if you have some Kris+ spend coming up between now and the end of November.
The deal isn’t as good as you’ll get using many existing 6 mpd / 4 mpd cards with the right merchant, but it is simple (any Kris+ merchant earns the Amex bonus) and provides an additional cap for big spenders who already exhaust their bonus caps each month with non-Kris+ spend.
Do check out the latest Kris+ merchants list if you haven’t recently, with many new retailers regularly joining the now 430-strong list, including in the Dining, Retail and Activities categories, and up to 9 mpd on offer even before credit card bonus points.

I think OCBC TR has shifted earning to $1000 per calendar year starting Nov 2023
Thanks you’re right it changed today (S$1,110 per calendar month), with some MCC tweaks too.
I’ve updated the table.
