Kris+ has a new bonus miles earning promotion running between now and 28th February 2023 at 13 restaurants across the island, with a rate of 12 KrisPay miles on offer, in addition to the miles or points you’ll earn using your credit card for the payment itself.
That means earning up to 16 mpd in total during the promotion, a veritable feast of miles if one or more of your preferred restaurants has made it to the list, not to mention 100 or 200 miles just for making the reservation in advance.
All KrisPay miles earned can be immediately (and instantly) converted into KrisFlyer miles, which is exactly what you should be doing with them, so do be sure to transfer immediately and in full after settling your bill using the app.

A total of 13 restaurant brands, with 20 outlets between them island-wide, are participating in this latest deal for dining anytime during February 2023.

In all cases the earning rate shown on the Kris+ app already reflects the bonus rate.

This isn’t quite as generous as the most recent Kris+ Gastronomy Series back in May 2022, with 15 mpd on offer at 20 restaurants (in addition to up to 4 mpd from your credit card), but it’s still a nice deal worth considering if you’re dining out this month.
Which card to use
As you probably already know, with Kris+ you’ll earn KrisPay miles for your transaction (which you then can and should convert into KrisFlyer miles), on top of the usual points you’ll get when using your best credit card to make in-app payment.
Where possible, you’ll want to be using a credit card offering a 4 mpd bonus rate when making payment at these restaurants, or via mobile wallets, which you’ll then earn separately and in addition to 12 mpd through Kris+.
The following cards will earn at their bonus rate of between 3 mpd and 4 mpd for spend in the specific dining MCCs listed. You can reference the participating merchant tables above to check the MCC before choosing which card to use.

Don’t use your Citi Rewards card to make payment with Apple Pay or Google Pay on Kris+, since online transactions using this card specifically exclude mobile wallet payments and will therefore earn at the basic rate of 0.4 mpd.
Still unsure?
If you’re not sure whether your bonus miles credit card is eligible for the merchant of your choice, our advice is to use your best card for general spend miles accrual, especially if the transaction is substantial.
For smaller amounts you may wish to take the chance, but remember most bonus category spend credit cards earn just 0.4 mpd when you make transactions that the bank decides don’t qualify.
Don’t forget to transfer straight to KrisFlyer miles
KrisPay miles earned through Kris+ can only be transferred to your KrisFlyer account within 7 days of the transaction. To do so, simply tap on the “Transfer to KrisFlyer” button which will appear on the miles earned confirmation screen or transaction details screen.

You can do so later (within 7 days), but why wait?
Remember that KrisPay miles earned per transaction can only be transferred to your account in their entirety. If you earned 100 KrisPay miles from a single Kris+ transaction, for example, the full 100 KrisPay miles must be transferred to your KrisFlyer account. If you have already spent some of your KrisPay miles earned, a partial transfer option is not available.
We therefore recommend transferring to KrisFlyer immediately following any Kris+ earning transaction, in case you either forget or make a mistake later.
Up to 200 extra miles with reservation portals
KrisFlyer recently launched a partnership with restaurant reservation portal Quandoo, and currently there’s a double miles promotion ongoing for bookings until the end of February 2023.

That’s good news because it means netting an additional 200 KrisFlyer miles just for booking and attending the reservation itself, but sadly it’s only possible at 1 of the 13 participating restaurants in the current Kris+ 12 mpd deal:
- Dope Teatro
Kris+ has also has its own Makan+ restaurant reservation portal powered by Chope.

This allows you to accrue 100 KrisPay miles (which can be converted into KrisFlyer miles) for each attended reservation year-round, including 6 of the 13 participating in this 12 mpd promotion:
- 665°F – Andaz Singapore
- COCA
- Honolulu Cafe Singapore
- Mrs Pho (Takashimaya branch)
- Qin Restaurant & Bar
- Sarai
Both of these methods are a no-brainer if you’re thinking of dining at one of these outlets in February 2023, with the reservation miles plus the 12 mpd via Kris+ payment plus up to 4 mpd on your credit card potentially adding up to a serious stash.
For example, if you book a table this month at Dope Teatro via Quandoo (having linked your KrisFlyer account to your Quandoo account) and spend S$200 on dinner using your DBS WWMC card via Kris+, you’ll receive:
- 200 KrisFlyer miles for attending the reservation
- 2,400 KrisFlyer miles for payment via the Kris+ app
- 800 KrisFlyer miles from your DBS Points for the payment itself
That’s a total of 3,400 KrisFlyer miles for a S$200 dinner – equivalent to 17 mpd!
Summary
A fantastic bonus earning rate of 12 mpd for 13 restaurants across Singapore between now and the end of February 2023, when you pay in-app via Kris+ to earn additional miles at the payment stage.
These will come in addition to the points you’ll earn on your credit card, for a total haul of 16 mpd at the top level, but even with a decent general spend card offering 1.2 mpd on local transactions you can still net a respectable 13.2 mpd during this offer.
Seven of these restaurants even offer pre-booking through Makan+ or Quandoo, for 100 or 200 additional KrisFlyer miles per attended reservation.
Remember to transfer your KrisPay miles immediately into the KrisFlyer programme after earning, since if they become partially used by mistake or you forget after 7 days, they’ll be stuck in the Kris+ app, where their value is dismal.
Even if none of the 13 restaurants participating in this promotion are of interest to you, remember that Kris+ now has over 280 earning partners across Singapore for in-store transactions, paying recently-enhanced 3 mpd, 6 mpd or 9 mpd earn rates, so you should be regularly picking up additional miles this way at various F&B, fashion, retails and electronics stores.
